As a South African patient living with severe refractory lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome, I am deeply distressed by the lack of access to modern biologic therapies available elsewhere in the world. While patients in the USA, UK and Europe increasingly have access to advanced lupus treatments such as Saphnelo (Anifrolumab), many African patients remain trapped in years of chronic corticosteroid treatment because these biologics are either unavailable, unaffordable, or extremely difficult to access through regulatory pathways. The result for many patients is devastating: severe steroid damage skin atrophy chronic inflammation disability preventable complications declining quality of life African lupus patients deserve the same opportunity to access modern medicine as patients in developed countries. No patient should suffer irreversible damage simply because of where they live. I urge pharmaceutical companies, regulators, healthcare systems and global lupus organizations to acknowledge the growing treatment inequality facing autoimmune patients across Africa and to work toward meaningful access pathways for severe refractory disease. This is not only a South African issue — it is a global health equity issue.
Pathetic - Do not take out this gap cover - they do not cover your gap claims as advertised. I am paying a large monthly subscription to Netcareplus Gap cover. I have submitted over 10 claims. On the one claim I received an email requesting more information. When I rep**** asking them what exact information they require - No response. On all the other claims - no response. I have phoned their customer call centre umteen times - the call centre people that are on the other end each time the call is disconnected, nobody bothers to call you back and the call centre agents are not fully trained and cannot answer any queries effectively or professionally. Pathetic service and pathetic company to try and deal with.

Claremont Home Appliances are SHOCKING. STAY AWAY FROM THEM - THEY ARE ****STERS. I called for a Samsung washing machine service man and was told the call out fee and the first 30 min of labour is R700. The service guy attended and after exactly 4 minutes said the "child lock" on the machine looks faulty - you must phone their office to find out how much it costs to fix it. I then had to pay R700 for him to be here for 4min and leave. There was no labour. I feel totally ********** and when I phoned a Manager to query this, she asked why don't I write about the good stuff and not the bad, and that she works for a salary. (I mean really) !!!! SHOCKING
Cannabist are the best! I got the seeds I ordered the SAME day! Freebies are great. It’s sad old reviews are saying these guys are a scam. I have bought from them a few times now and it has always been quick and easy and I always get free seeds. I can’t fault them.
Rain mobile data is the WORST data provider that I have ever encountered. I have a 4G mobile data package with Rain. The throttling that happens during peak time is intolerable. On the Ookla speed test it simply times out the throttle speed is so bad. Want to watch a movie during peak time - not possible with Rain. Rain is throttled to the level that you simply cannot watch a movie or even You Tube streaming service. My advice - choose another mobile data provider.
