About 2.5 years ago I gave my 30 days notice and had my account closed from Vodacom and ported my number away from them due to pathetic service. Vodacom then illegally billed me for services not rendered to an amount of R5500. They handed this account to lawyers who sent me the itemized billing. I responded by explaining each and every entry and provided them explanations to why I will not pay for services I never rendered. Instead of following up with me, they handed the account to other lawyers who insist that the only way is to pay the now R6500. Every month they report to the credit bureau saying I owe them money when I don't. I get called each day and receive SMSes every day demanding pay with threats of legal action while I do not owe Vodacom a cent. This is deformation of character and harrassment and I am going to get Vodacom sued for it.
My cell phone account is not in arrears, as confirmed by Vodacom client service assistant, but I get an automated electronic phone call every 1 or 2 hours informing me I need to settle the account.<br> The client service assistant could not resolve the matter and referred me to call another department.
I contacted Aiden from Noise online who confirmed the product was available. I made the payment. Shipping got delayed and I had to keep following up with poor feedback being provided.<br> I finally after 2 weeks received the wrong product. I sent it back and was promised my money be returned. The payment is still outstanding and I only get lame excuses as to why it has not been paid yet.
Since July I have been debited R800 monthly for the service of providing me Wireless internet @ 4Mb/s throughput.<br> Always latency and never a solid connection. I am at work until 21:00 daily and when I get home I get a lousy average of 1.5Mb/s downstream. Upstream is almost non-existent, so I can even upload a lousy 7MB file to work.<br> <br> Many calls logged and always patient, until I disconnected from their tower yesterday after frustratingly struggling for 2 DAYS to get some data throughput. Every time I have to drive to work for doing a support call, as a VPN connection is non-existent and unreliable. Let alone the times I could connect and halfway through managing enterprize systems my sessions drop.<br> <br> I had enough end demand my money back, not even going into the damages caused by their failure to supply what I pay for.<br> <br> Today another debit order went off claiming R800 of my hard earned money.<br> <br> DON\T USE SNOWBALL.<br> USE AFRIHOST !!! - They are THE BEST...and thanks to TELKOM I can't get an ADSL port or I wouldn't have had this crap experience."
We are forced to authorize a debit order with no option of manual EFT payment to settle account.<br> The debit order fails and is the fault of the bank.<br> I get an email with no statement of outstanding balance and no request to fix the problem.<br> I am told that debit failed and I am penalized with a R200 fee and handed over to debt collectors.<br> <br> THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO THINGS.<br> You let me know and I sort it out. (It is already sorted out ).<br> I tried to logging to the website to see the outstanding balance and the system tells me I am not even registered and my email doesn't exist.<br> <br> I refuse to pay penalties. You force me to authorize a bank to fail a debit order to steal money from me!!!<br> <br> F - U - C - K THIS!!!<br>
