0/10 would not recommend. Despite the branch, in the town where I live, being less than a kilometer from the business address where I work and asked them to deliver at, they struggled for a week to deliver my parcel. I had to phone them and explain where I am at before the could deliver.
I do not understand the pricing system. Why not make a semi standerdised pricing system, as not everybody have access to big rulers and scales to accurately give a description of the parcel. It is pathetic to pay R1600-00 for two 13kg parcels, whereas another big Courier Company charges us at least a third of the price. Another complain is pathetic delivery times. It seems like your company's business has grown too fast, but you have expanded too slowly, to keep up with the demand you have. Sort out this nonsence.
These people are the worst. Miss Pillay is the lady who always phones you. She lies to force the scam down on you. They make you sign up for White Pages. Then at the end of the year they strike you will a bill of more than R11000-00. You must beg for their banking details. ITC Summons also never acknowledge any cancellation letters. Do not fall for this pathetic scam, as it will leave you out of pocket and your sanity will be tested.
I have a a big complaint today. I live in Zeerust, North West Province. As I do on many Sundays, I go to Clicks to do my shopping. I make sure I am there at around 08:45, to be ready when the shop opens at 09:00. What happened today, on Sunday, the 1st of May 2022, left me shocked and appalled. I was there at 08:45 and the staff were there, waiting on the Manager (I believe his name is Teko) to open the shop, as (I have heard) he is the only person at this Clicks Branch who has a key. I quickly went to Pick n Pay to buy some things while I waited for 09:00. The time came and I headed back to Clicks. That is when the waiting started!! At 09:30 the staff members became frustrated and embarrassed to keep having to explain and apologize on behalf of the manager, who is late. Customers were angry and disappointed at Clicks not being open. Some customers just completely left and others tried to be patient and wait. In the mean time, the staff kept on trying to get a hold of the manager, but he is not answering his phone. They never stop trying. I decided to phone Timothy Makobe, the pharmacy manager of Clicks, to try and find out from him what is going on. I found he is on vacation, but he promised to try and get a hold of the manager. 10:00 came and the staff got a hold of the manager's wife. She said that her husband was on his way, and we just had to wait a little while longer. Finally at 10:25 we spotted his car turn into the shopping centre. Tensions from customers and staff alike was at a boiling point. When he walked up to the door of Clicks to unlock it, I decided to say what both staff and customers wanted to say. I said: You are rude and disrespectful to the customers and to the staff members. You should apologise for being late. He only got a bad attitude, unlocked the door and went to hide in his office. As a side note: I have heard from both staff and customers alike that the manager, Teko has a serious problem of misusing alcohol. He is drunk/hung over on the job. This contributes to him being late and not being a good manager. Hope this gets resolved as soon as possible, as this is not the first incident of him being late to open the Clicks he is managing.
