Woodford car hire is one of the few companies with transparent and honest business policies added to some good old fashion customer service. I believe these policies put them far above the competition and will result in Woodford being the top rental company in SA if they continue in this way. I was able to book easily, received great communication along the way and most importantly drive the car in a relaxed manner knowing I had a zero excess policy, so if some clown drove into me I wouldn't be R70k out of pocket which is how some of the opposition structures their policies. The company is not perfect (none are) but with a clearly solid business model they are by far the best.
King Shaka - Unfriendly, unhelpful and embarrassing quality of food and dirty as a slum! I travel worldwide monthly for 10 years now and have never found a worse premier lounge experience....cape town branch is marginally better but still far behind all other lounges. Management wake up and go visit a fnb slow lounge or the Standard bank lounge in Jhb
I get Gumtree alerts when items are advertised so have driven straight to the store on 2 occasions, only to be told the item is sold! The 3rd time I called and arranged to visit the following day....and again the item was "already sold" when I arrived. these sales are pretty amazing as there it is vintage hifi with a tiny customer base and I have never seen anyone in the store other than Michael.... who has the personality of a doorstop and manners to match! I would avoid, don't waste your time...cant speak for the quality of products as there does not seem to be any products other than a couple items he is trying to fix behind his desk!
This Used to be a great company but I have seen a decline in service and honesty levels and an unreasonable increase in pricing. 3 of the last 4 calls( which tale up a considerable amount of unnecessary time) Santam were not able or interested in helping. Not the way to treat a 20 year customer with multiple vehicles and household with not a single claim in 10 years.....I am moving on
The sign up and payment process is simple and seamless and I managed to complete my vehicle policy on my phone in 3 mins. By comparison I had spent 25 mins the same day with my previous insurance company answering all the security questions and every detail on the car only to be told they can't find the vehicle on their system and would call me back...Naked had my car on their system and I could select it in a second rather than trying to spell everything put in the phonetic alphabet and "waiting for systems to update". I had a question with Naked and Tshiamiso mailed back with good friendly answers within a few minutes. If Naked keep this level of service up, the other Dinosaur Insurance companies being run by bean counters with no understanding of their customers are in big trouble. Keep it up Naked!
After 10 years loyally supporting one of the "big companies" who no longer seem to understand customer needs and customer service, I decided to try Woodford at King Shaka. I was very impressed with the offering and opportunity to pay a little extra for peace of mind coverage without 1000 hidden exclusions! The car was good, service was excellent and communication clear and comprehensive....really hard to fault and I will definitely continue to use Woodford as long as they continue to be "different"!
<div>Bought Strawberry pops the other day for the first time in a while and literally spat out the first mouthful...I tried a few more mouthfulls then the box ended up in the bin as I was not even going to give remains to the dog. Besides changing the flavour and recipe the snap, crackle has also gone? I suppose if I had nothing better to do I could read the ingredients of every box before every shop but that's not what you expect when you buy from a "trusted brand" I decided to rather stick to rice crispies so today went to get some and get what they are not rice crispies despite being called guess what... RICE CRISPIES and still having the snap, crackle and pop on the box! To me this is fraud and pure corporate greed and deliberate scam retaining a misleading name and in my opinion the people responsible for the false advertising are worse than common criminals as this is deliberate behavior from supposedly educated people. To the sorry sacks at Kellogg's, you have just received your last rand from a customer that has purchased your products for 45yrs, I hope all your customers make a similar stand against this dodgy behavior so that the geniuses responsible go back to car guarding or robbing banks or whatever their previous occupations were. </div>
