Called by representative, initials M. S., pretending to be from the "Telkom upgrade department", quoting my ID number and other personal details to me. After the fact, learned she misrepresented herself, was from Sell Direct, selling on behalf of Telkom. How DARE Telkom give them my confidential info without my permission! New Popi Act July 1, will get them sued big time! Promised 5 day cooling off period to cancel upgrades, but changed terms UNLAWFULLY of current month to month within cooling off period, which if contract is canceled, reverts existing contract back to prepaid! New upgrades still not canceled after 16 days!! Also 140 GB promised in New upgraded, yet now showing only 25 GB allocated!! Lies, deceit and mustelresentation! Outright FRAUD committed. After 21 calls to them and Telkom, NOTHING done to resolve it! Telkom NEVER agree to ANYTHING over the phone. NEVER work via Sell Direct Marketing in Cape Town and if you work with Telkom, know they hand over your confidential info to other companies without your permission!
Complex Patrols, Cape Town, is a sectional title security enforcement company, supposed to protect owners against harm, intimidation and noise. They are on retainer, a sizeable amount per month and yet they do not patrol regularly and if they do, they drive into the complex, sit inside their car, do not even get out to patrol or check the complex for trouble or noise and then drive off. They are absolutely useless in providing security and protection and are totally intimidated by the culprits, residents living inside the complex. They do not enforce clear, written body corporate rules. If you are a complex looking for security, do not hire them. It is a complete waste of time and money. They will leave you in a compromising situation with intimidating bullies, who break all the body corporate rules, shout and curse at you and the security guard, supposed to protect you, who drives off at speed, with the words: "I will call the police!" They leave you right there on your own. What cowards! Did I mention I am an elderly woman, an owner, a granny, paying for their services, who is victimized over and over again, because they are too scared of the bullies to enforce the rules. What sissies! Grow a pair! And the bullies, they are white trash living amongst us. Our enemy is not outside our gates, they are living amongst us. I have been forced to sell as a result.
<p>Was forced to close my account with Vodacom due to their complete lack of service and incompetence. After complaining telephonically to at least 10 - 12 different representatives, including supervisors and the accounts department, going to three stores in person, I had enough. I ordered and paid for itemised billing, yes you have to at Vodacom (ridiculous!), for nearly a year because I could not check astronomical charges eg. R5093 in December (they admitted to overcharging me on two occassions before), yet still did not receive my statements. I cannot check any charges to determine if I am being defrauded. I have lodged complaints over and over again. I cancelled my phone and internet account, but yesterday discovered the internet stop order has not been cancelled! I cannot get ANYONE to resolve all of this! By law I have a right to itemised statements!</p>
