They have predatory Subscription Service which gives you access to cheaper tickets. But it's not really worth it. I tried to cancel after 1 month but the website has the cancel button disabled and it says only after 90 days. I don't intend on going to the movies again and I must pay at least 3 months worth of subscriptions for what? You are not offering me a service you are only allowing cheaper tickets if I purchase and you are contravening the CPA by not allowing me to cancel within a reasonable period.
I have been attempting to process an upgrade for my wife for well over a month now. It never used to be this hard. Initially I tried to use the Vodacom website but it would not let me submit my request. I then tried the My Vodacom app to upgrade. I got an sms confirming my order and then never heard from Vodacom again. Eventually I phoned in early December and complained that I had not heard anything. I then did an over the phone upgrade with the help of the Vodacom call centre. We checked that there was stock etc and then after that phone call I never heard about my order. After that I have made 2 - 3 calls to find out progress and I keep getting the same feedback. I am told that the confirmation department needs to phone me. They never phone me and I still don't have my wife's new phone. At this point I'm thinking about just going with a another provider.
I had excellent service from the retentions department at Discovery. A lovely lady not only helped with my query but advised I was due for a discount and gave me excellent advise on how to further save money. Unheard of from most companies! Top service. Thank you Tasmina Nair
Terrible service, long waits. It took multiple visitors of multiple hours to open a bank account only to have it not activated after 2 months. The only reason I opened it was to access my bond account. Which unknown to me had already been stuffed up by sending me the wrong form. I was sent incorrect documents which has now locked away the funds I explicitly told them that I wanted access to. Not one request has been processed correctly. I give up ABSA. I need to speak to a manager and I need this situation sorted out. I need someone who can actually fix this, this is the worst experience I have ever had with any financial institution.
I booked a basic room because we were staying for a friends wedding. Apon arrival I asked to change the rate so that we could have breakfast. The hotel could not check us in before the shuttle left so had to organise with Friends whose room was ready in order to change.

When we arrived back from the wedding at around 2 am there was someone in our room, she said something like, \Sorry my Dad said this room was free\". We then had to stay in the room adjacent, only we had no keys to lock any of the doors. There was pepper spray left on the bed which gave us a very bad impression.

As a result we had a very bad nights sleep as we did not feel secure, my poor wife did not sleep at all. The room we stayed in was clearly not prepared and my wife said the sheets smelled of perfume.

When we complained the staff were unapologetic and asked us who was in our room and whether we spoke to precious about it. What an incredibly silly thing to say, we were tired and must now run around organizing things.

My wife said she wanted to leave and we paid the bill. Only to find later that we were charged for the breakfast we never had!

I phoned and left a message for a manager to contact me, none has"
I applied for an ADSL line over 2 months ago. Finally got an appointment to install and nobody shows up.

I don't know what else to do. How can a company be so useless at every contact point.

You can't even phone the call center because you wait for 20 minutes and it just goes blank. Twice in a row when my patience is already thin.

After all the absolute rubbish I have dealt with I can't even get through to you.

The worst thing is I have to pay you actual money for a telephone line I don't even want! I have been paying ypu and the only thing I use it for is trying to phone you to get the Dam service I applied for.

Now reply and give me my useless reference no. I just want someone at telkom to know how utterly useless I thin they are.
I have been attempting to get ADSL for the past almost 3 months.

I went to the Telkom in Durban in City View mall which is located in Stamford Hill Road.

First of all it took me 1.5 months to get a telkom landline. I applied online on the telkom website for an ADSL line. After a week I heard NOTHING. So I send a contact request so that Telkom could phone me, couple of days go by, NOTHING.

So I went back to the shop to apply. This is where I continued to deal with Mr Piwe Musa.

After a week or two of hearing NOTHING again. I phone Mr Musa. Sorry sir I am dealing with your order they just wanted to confirm your address. Ok so it takes Telkom 2 weeks to confirm my address. NONSENSE.

I then proceeded to wait another week, NOTHING.

I began to phone Mr Musa every couple of days, all he said was we are busy with your order there is a new system being installed it may just take some time.

Evantually I gave up on Mr Musa and phoned telkom. The lady on the line told me that the order had not been elevated to receive an appointment. One phone call to find that out!

Another week goes by, phone again and this time the excuse is the responsible person could not find my order. I give up!
I processed an upgrade online. I wanted to change the delivery address.

I phoned into Vodacom to change it. I was told that the courier would phone before delivery, I could change the address then.

There was no notification, no waybill number was sent to me and I did not receive a phone call. They tried to deliver to the wrong address and I was not there. I knew this beforehand yet somehow this could not be prevented.

Finally I contacted Vodacom and they sent through a change of address. After some time I decided that I would try and find out when I would get delivery of the phone so that I could make sure I was there.

I spoke with Vodacom a number of times & they kept telling me they had sent through the change of address and that the courier would deliver it shortly.

I eventually had to get hold of the courier and found that the delivery address had been sent through but that the devliery was in a query state and therefore needed to be updated to a different state.

Finally I received my phone but it was faulty. I phoned Vodacom again and organised for it to be picked up and told them to make sure of the address. They got it wrong & I was not there again!
