RSA TRACE AND RECOVER, previously We Trace and The Tracing group run by Tiaan Gericke has once again taken money from a clent but has not given any correspondence if feed back once you have paid.. Does not answer calls, emails or WhatsApp messages. It seems tgat is his MO as I can see by other people's warning on Mr Gericke. Just be aware he changes the companies name.
<p>I experienced major problems with Lindsay Sakers Edenvale’s upper management and their unfair treatment of clients.</p> <p>When interested in a car, they will ‘wine and dine you’ but the minute you have purchased a car and signed the paperwork you are put aside. Amongst the many problems with them is that I requested for my car to be registered in the New Year which was not followed resulting in devalued by over R10 000 on my car. Also getting the car earlier than expected meant it was too early for my insurance to start so they offered to help with insurance.</p> <p>I never changed my mind about registering the car regardless of what they say. They actually say I ‘flip flopped’ and was psychologically and mentally ‘disturbed’ that I did not remember that I changed my mind. I have recorded conversation taking at the same time as dealing with LS Edenvale, with VW and the insurance people where in I talk about the car being registered in the New Year on numerous occasions.</p> <p>I also drove for nearly a month before I discovered I had not been insured (even though I have an email from the broker saying I was covered that was sent to the dealership when the car was handed over). They explain this away as I changed my mind and cancelled the policy directly with the insurance people so I did not have to pay a brokers fee. The insurance peoples response was that I could I have cancel a policy that was NEVER STARTED and all correspondence with them would be recorded and there is no record of the policy and the first they knew about it was when I went in to find out why they had not installed the required tracking system. LS Edenvales reaction is that ‘I forced them to get me insurance’ so I could immediately take the car and therefore they did it as a favour. Are they aware most insurance companies will cover you immediately on getting a call requesting for insurance so it’s hardly a problem to get insurance?</p> <p>LS Edanvale then turned on me as if I had done wrong. The staff ‘circled’ against me to protect themselves and refuse to admit they are in the wrong. The last conversation was recorded by them wherein not only do they accuse me of being psychologically unbalanced but threaten to take the car away from me without any compensation. - which as far as I know they cannot do as I have paid for the car.</p> <p>BUT GUESS WHAT - the recording of this conversation that will prove what I am saying was then conveniently deleted so there is no copy. Firstly they deny the meeting was recorded and then state it was ‘deleted’ once the minutes were taken. The minutes I was then sent are a cleaned up version of an extremely small part of the conversation.</p> <p>The old adage ‘NEVER TRUST A CAR SALEMAN’ applies to top management of LS Edenvale. Be wary ESPECIALLY if they say they live by the code of ‘honesty and integrity’. When dealing with them take your own witness and if possible record the conversations.</p> <p>A lot more took place but there is no space to write it all down except the two most important incidences.</p>
I renewed my contract in June last year. I signed a new contract with a monthly payment of R99 and a once off extra charge for renewal for the first payment. I have been charges 33% more every month since June and cannot get MTN to correct the amount. I have been into head office 5 times and into the branches twice besides the countless calls I have made. I have taken a copy of the contract to MTN but every time I phone or go in, I get told they need a copy (which they actually have on the system under my cell number). I always get told they will 'ESCALATE THE PROBLEM' and all that happens is they FILE 13 it and never look at it again. I presume the definition of ESCALATION to MTN mean never look at it again as the client will eventually get tired of complaining. I have started taking down the staff members name and have a list of about 6 names. I cannot be the only person with this issue and would like to know from a Contract Lawyer that if MTN have reneged on the contract do I have the right to stop payment and go to another cell company? and how do I go about it then. If I take anymore time off work my Boss will fire me. Please can some one help.
