Adri delivered beyond expectations! I needed an unabridged birth certificate and was told by DHA when I app**** that it will take 4 months to process. On top of that many other people were telling me how they were waiting 8 months or more for theirs which would have been a major problem for me as I have a fairly tight timeline to work with. Adri expedited the application for me and my certificate was ready for collection in record time. Absolutely worth every penny and highly recommended!
Got my policy via Jaguar Landrover Sandton. You would think that a luxury brand like JLR would sell products that would meet or exceed the expectations of their type of clientele, so I have no idea why they would bundle in products from the likes of Impac. I have a Body Maintenance policy with them. It states limits of R4k / quarter, but nowhere in their policy do they state you have to do each repair individually (i.e. you can't take the vehicle in once a year and get all the different claim instances done at the same time). Rude and unhelpful staff. Avoid like the plague!
I'm really not going to repeat the entire saga again with a return, but in short: - ordered a 45W charger, but a 20W charger was delivered. - 20W is still fine, so contacted returns to highlight they delivered the wrong item and asked for a refund for the difference - Takealot insists that I return the wrongly delivered item, then order THE SAME item again and wait for the delivery again, rather than just refunding the difference. Absolute waste of time and unfortunately very typical from takealot when it comes to returns.
I have been trying to return a portable aircon for 2 weeks now (it doesn't do much cooling). 2 ice block were missing in the return which they came to collect as well. All went well up to this point. Then 2 days later the aircon was redelivered. I contacted takealot to return the item and it was picked up a couple of days later (on Monday). Thursday another delivery driver pitched up to collect the ice blocks (which was already returned). I explained to them the situation and spoke to someone at the returns department and it sounded like they understood was going on. Today a delivery driver tried to deliver the ice blocks again, which I have refused to take delivery of. Can you please sort out your returns department and get my refund sorted?
3 Weeks ago I started getting "Transaction declined as not allowed on your card" messages with no explanation what it was. A few days later linked this to every transaction that is forex linked (google ads, office 365 subscription, etc) on my business account. Have been trying since then to get this resolved with every time a different vague excuse as to why it is not working. Made formal complaint on 9 Oct, still waiting for a response. Business account manager doesn't even respond to my message anymore. I think this is now the end of my personal and business relationship with FNB
