I booked for 2 nights but the day we checked in, I was so disgusted. Tub chairs in the room were dirty. Curtains looked horrible, not sure if it was dirty or mold on the curtains. Pillows which were on the bed smelled funny and the room did not smell nice at all. Had a very weird smell. Bathroom looked a bit dirty as well. Wooden furniture's paint was busy peeling. I asked reception whether or not there's a Duty Manager and was told only the next morning. I come from a hospitality background and the fact that there was no Duty Manager is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I went back to my room and a few minutes later someone from housekeeping came and took me to a different room. Only difference was the curtains and chairs were clean. When I went to shower, the 1 towel was dirty and I was so glad I brought my own towels as well. The bed was horrible. The next morning I went to reception @ 6am to see if the Duty Manager was there and was told she's not there. We packed our stuff and checked out. We were told there's no refund at reception but the Duty Manager will see what she can do when she get back. At that point in time I've had enough of this horrendous place and just wanted to leave. Definitely not a place I would ever even suggest to my worst enemy. Definitely not a 4 star... Not even worth a 1 star at all
I have been having issues with my Vodacom for a few months. I have been a Vodacom customer for years but somehow they cannot fix my problem. I cannot hear the person on the other end of the call when I'm in certain areas. Which does not help me at all cos I have missed alot of calls. I went to Vodacom for help on 3 different occasions, first I had to do a sim swop which I did, did not to work. The following week they did a network setting, still did not work. The 3rd I went I was turned around at the door saying no one is currently there to help with the problem. So I decided to port my number from Telkom to Vodacom as I need to be able to take my calls as I work from home but do not want to loose this number. I did the port at Telkom but because my Vodacom network is not working properly I got the message that I need to confirm the port long after the 40 minute deadline. I have been on the phone for almost a day trying to get through to the Customer Care Centre. Call just get ended, not giving you an option to hold. The self automated message says they are busy with high call volume and they give options but no options are for me. So then the call get cut from the other side. This is not acceptable. I could have a family emergency and cannot get through to me due to Vodacoms problem. I need this issue resolved as my livelihood depends on this.
I am very disappointed with the service i received @ Nando's Tokai on 06 January 2018. I am a regular customer and we had sit down. A piece of my cheese burger was still raw. I asked to speak to the manager. She came to me, apologized and said they will give me a other burger and i told her my appetite is gone now and she must box it for me please. I waited an hour and no one came back to me or brought my burger. The manager peeked around the corner to see if im still there but never saw her again. The shop was not busy and no one came to collect orders so I'm not sure what the hold up was. Anyway, once my sister was finish eating, I decided I'm gonna leave as i refuse to wait 2 hours for a burger. This was very dissappointing as i use to go there at least twice a week. Not sure if i'll go back there.
I have literally been trying to get through to the Call Centre regarding a Internet Banking inquiry. It's so frustrating as you go through the whole procedure and then you told a agent will assist you +- 5 minutes. 10 minutes down the line you still holding. I have tried this numerous times today. Not acceptable at all.
<p>I bought a deal on Daddy's deals for Vandiars restaurant the beginning of the month. When i contacted the restaurant now to make a booking, their answering machine said they are closed for business from 24 December until 03 January. The deal expires the 31 December. Nowhere on the voucher or on the add when i purchased the deal does it state anything about the restaurant being closed during that period. The voucher states it expires on the 31 December. This is totally unaceptable, money wasted. It's a bad refelction on Daddy's deals and the Restaurant.</p>
