I have started receiving threatening SMS's for money that they say is owed to SARS by my father. My father, may he rest in peace, died in 2013. Does it get much better than that?
I have been trying to open a business account with Vodacom Business since 14 May. It is now 02 June, and I still do not have my contract and my device. It is impossible to escalate a query, I get no feedback or communication unless I initiate it. I have had 2 managers call and committ to sending an email to me for confirmation, but this has never happened. If you can avoid Vodacom online, please do so. I received a committment from Vodacom that this device would be delivered to me on Monday. Now they are saying it will be delivered on Tuesday. I cannot even deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been a client of FNB for over 20 years, but FNB Business is a mess. There is never a time that I engage with them where I will get help within their promised response times. I get no communication on problems or delays, and working with the business division is always an energy drain. So frustrated.
My daughter has a campaign to assist with raising funds to play for South Africa in a World Cup tournament. She has been trying since May to get funds released, and this is not happening. She was told that it was going to be expedited because of delays, which has not happened. She has now been told that the money has been paid out, which is not true. We have asked for a proof of payment, which we have not received. I have tried calling, but only get on hold where the waiting time goes up from 1 minute, to 2, and is now at 10 minutes.
Paid money in advance (April 22) for the Westville branch that was going to open. No communication, tons of lies from the staf that I speak with about the progress and when this gym is going to open. No work being done at the site in spite of Fit24Gyms staff telling me they are busy at the site. I have sent an email for my refund, but no reponse on this as well. Really poor experience, and I see that I am not alone.
I logged a complaint with Discovery Bank in September 2020. This issue has still not been resolved. I have been promised an escalated return call, but this has not happened. I have phoned 15 times if I have phoned once to try to get this resolved, but it would appear that Discovery Bank are hoping that this will simply go away. An absolute travesty of customer service. If you are looking for a banking partner, don't bother with Discovery Bank.
