Their customer service is pathetic. I have had incorrect and non-working stuff delivered and it's a real struggle to return and get your money back. Last week I ordered goods and payment went through, but the order didn't I have written emails complaints in their chat box and NO RESPONSE! They will not acknowledge they messed up and have not refunded. Many times their offers are out of stock but remain listed for months!! Very unreliable and nowhere close to class acts like TAKEALOT....And don't expect to be able to call them - the phone answering service just says "we are not taking calls anymore"!!!!! So you're on your own. What kind of business model is this??
What a complete ripoff - exploiting the visa situation with glee. No public warning about charges - where to go -how to get in, and then wham they hit you with a R1000 fee to take your fingerprints..it's a criminal and gangster mentality - milk us with your exploitation racket..AND NEVER ANY response .....
I had some difficulty with the website and ordering, but support was prompt and helpful. My item was delivered exactly as ordered and I'm very happy with it. The only negative is the long wait. Since the items are sourced from overseas it takes at least 2 weeks.
Product quality sucks in many cases. A review of products would be great. Delivery and returns take forever. So cheap prices, but there's a catch!
I think there's a scam going on here. I have booked Airbnb both locally and internationally many times, and am well aware that when I book and pay for international accommodation, I am liable for a foreign currency fee. I pay in ZAR, the vendor is paid in their home currency and every bank then applies a conversion rate and takes a fee. BUT if it's local accommodation, paid in ZAR and the vendor receives ZAR, then Airbnb maintain there should be NO fee and whenever I have used ABSA or Nedbank, there hasn't been one. NOW I have a new STD credit card and they are charging a fee. Is it possible that EVERY South African who is booking an end-of-year holiday in SA is paying this "imaginary" fee??? I can't believe that. And please don't come back with "a service agent will be in touch" They won't . I called to complain, about 2 weeks ago, and nobody gets back to you!
Brilliant service from a prompt response to my quote request right through to delivery and installation! No fault at all, and very competetive pricing.
Outstanding, knowledgable, and very keen to help me with my various queries. I could not have wished for better service.
We opened a Mr Price account after reviewing a glowing pamphlet in their shop and a very easy process on the website, only to discover that from the minute you purchase something, YOU ARE CHARGED INTEREST. Once you receive your monthly account, you will see a line item: INTEREST. There is no way you can avoid this as according to their unhelpful HELPDESK, it's an \interest bearing account"DUH....So hands up if you have ever heard of such a thing. All the store cards I have ever owned gave you an interest free option if you paid up in full every month...that's the point! But no"
I found Colin's details on gumtree and he offered to repair my old Technics amp. He accepted it and worked on it immediately (saturday night) and let me know on Sunday that it was fixed. He was efficient, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I can recommend his service, his knowledge, his attitude and his pricing structure!<br> Good Stuff Colin!
