This is the worst heath insurance scheme I know. I requested for the inception of my cover to be moved to 1 May instead of 1 March due to anticipated financial difficulties at the time. I sent this request 20 February, 6 days before the debit order which was due 25 February. Dischem health refused to listen to my request and went ahead to debit my account. I requested a refund and they refused to refund me. They have ignored all my subsequent queries and left me in financial distress. All I get are auto replies and nothing further. So much for a health insurance that has caused me more harm than good. Such an irony!
I was assisted by Mzilikazi who was very prompt at dispatching a tow service for me and supportive as well. He also contacted me afterwards to check if I had been assisted. The overall experience was super👍🏾
We were served chicken & chips which were clearly old and stale. I almost returned the food for a refund but chose not to as I was not prepared to spoil my day which was going well and I was in the Christmas spirit (until I went to Mochachos). My advice to the owner is, unless he is prepared to go under, to treat people like valued customers and not like a hungry bunch of people who will eat anything. I must say that I noticed the fewer customers at Mochachos compared to other outlets, this should have given me a hint that something was amiss. I'm certain more & more customers will also notice and will tell others. This was my first bad experience with Mochachos as I always buy from the Midrand and their food is absolutely fresh.
