If I could give them 0 I would. What a bunch of arrogant bullies. I have been with them for many years since fibre was installed in my complex. I wanted to downgrade to a lower and cheaper package. I was told the lower package was only available in areas like Tembisa. In my area, that package is only available to new customers or upgrades. What nonsense is that? I was told downgrade is available with 30 day notice, then when I asked to cancel, they can cancel immediately and collect their stinking router in the next few days. What a stinking attitude MetroFibre to a longstanding client. Please check when fibre was installed at Carlswald Creek, I've been your customer since then! No wonder you have 2* rating!
<p>I needed to get my roof fixed urgently and stumbled across this comoanies details on the internet. Their workmanship is very shoddy. Red flag is that they will ask for about 80-90% upfront in payments so that they can hold you to ransom. They quoted me based on a full day job, but they did not even sprend more than 2 hours at my house. They also quoted on a large area so that they can justify their ridiculous quote but the actual work is done on a much smaller area. Basically they only use the sealing fabric and a liquid plastic that costs less than R500 and charge you 10x more. Beware of them in the West Rand Area, they go by many names and usually their websites only provide a cellphone number. The pictures on their websites are NOT their own work that they've done, they use them to deceive unsuspecting customers. </p>
So I was scammed one Saturday morning at an ATM (foolish me). Took all necessary steps to stop and report the incident to fraud division (called from my cellphone and from within a branch). Case was registered, given a case no, told turnaround time for investigations is 6 business days and follow-up should be made with claims dept (0800333058). After 3 business days I called this claims dept to supply supporting info, which the system operator uploaded onto my file reluctantly . Never heard anything from anyone from this bank about the progress of the investigation. 6 business days go by (expiring Monday 11 May 2015). Tuesday morning 08:30 I was on the line demanding answers/outcome (first of all they were supposed to call me latest on Monday to provide feedback). I was told the system has an error I must call after an hour. 2 hours later I couldn't get through, I was put on hold for over 20 minutes in total using different lines. No one calls me back or anything. Today Wednesday 13/05/2015 09:00 am I called with no success, I even called initial fraud dept to assist or escalate the matter, still no success. Such an unprofessional way of treating customers you call private clients.
