I recently bought a lithium battery online which was meant to be delivered the next week per the communication received when ordering. The day I was supposed to get the delivery nothing arrived and no one called to advise me otherwise. The next day I called the customer line to follow up on my order, I was told it’s still at the store and has not been sent to the courier company yet. It will be delivered in the next few days. To avoid disappointed again as I asked told them I will come to the stores to collect it myself, as I had already hired contractors to come and install the battery that weekend. I collected the battery sealed in a box. The next day when I opened the box with my contractors ready to do the job. We found that the box only had the battery, mounting things and nuts and bolts. No cables! I went to back to Leroy Merlin in little Falls to purchase the cables as we need them to connect. The lady assisting me was confused because those cables should come with the battery. She opened a brand new box I front of me and showed us what was supposed to come with the exact battery we ordered. Magneto 24V lithium battery. All the cables were there. The assistant tried to help by sending an email to the supplier and included me in the email. Nothing has been done to this day. I have not received any contact from the stores. I can’t use the battery because I need the cables. I have spend so much money driving up and down and paying call out fees for the elections that ended up not doing anything but I still. Had to pay for their time. Leroy took my money and did not restore what is due to me. I don’t understand why is it that even at the stores they could not fix the issue and give me my cables and they can take it up with the supplier. Now I’m the one having to run after the supplier but my I bought from Leroy. Leroy have violated thier side of the deal to me as a customer and I’m the one who now has to chase a supplier I don’t know. This goes against the CPA and I will lodge a formal complaint with ICASA. No one, Leroy or the supplier has called to at least say they are doing something about it. My money is gone! No accountability whatsoever from Leroy.
Admist the calamity we are going through globally, COVID 19. I called Discovery regarding some matters on my car insurance policy. Shafick Allow was very helpful. He gave me enough information to help me arrive to my final decision. He listened to me and was very professional. Thank you for a great service. I will be back as a customer.
This was my first time at the place. I was on holiday in Cape Town this past festive. I went there for breakfast with a friend. Waiters are on point. There were not enough seating areas, as it was quite packed. One of the waiters (very friendly) reassured us that he will find a table for us. He did so quite timely. The Food, Oh my word! Presentation and taste were on fleek! Like, the food was prepared with so much love!. The waiters are attentive, happy and go the extra mile. The put a lot of restaurants to shame when it comes to service and quality.<br> That restaurant is fueled on passion and as a customer you can feel it and it really sets the place apart from the other restaurants. The ambiance is of note! I love it there. I told all my friends in Cape Town about this place. We need one in Johannesburg please :).
I paid a deposit of R600(At their Showroom) on a Saturday to have the Glitz and Glam team to come and take quotes at my apartment. We agreed on the day that the deposit was paid that they will come the following Tuesday at 2pm. The Tuesday came and went, I had to call on the Wednesday to follow up. Then another appointment was set and just like before no show up. Every time I called the Guy( Moyo) kept telling me he is busy with a client in Pretoria...excuses, excuse, as thou I was not a client. The least you can do is communicate if you are not coming. Eventual, he came, took quotes and promised to send the quote the next day. 2/3 weeks later after chasing them to send me the quote I got the quote and made the deposit as I needed them to install blinds ASAP. 3 Weeks passed and no communication from them. I was now tired of chasing them because they are very good with excuses but fail to communicate. I eventually went to the store very dismayed and pissed off for their lack of delivery and communication. They have a \No Refund "policy and I had already parted with about R2000"
