They're not even worth the one star rating. Shockingly bad service. I was given the wrong information when signing up to Fedhealth. A waste of time and money, and the consultant that assisted me won't respond to my emails.
My son went to the Bayside Ster-Kinekor last weekend to watch Avatar. We booked online and paid for snacks. When he got there the staff said they can't show the movie because of load shedding, even though the movie would end 30min before the power went off. The staff were slow and lazy and not interested in helping. It seems like they decided not to show the movie so they could leave early as Avatar is longer than normal. My son and his friends decided to see another movie instead of trying to get a refund. When they went to get snacks there was no more popcorn.... on a Saturday evening for the 8pm show! The "highly efficient staff"[please note the sarcasm] said they would have to make more popcorn which they did at a glacial pace resulting in my son and his group of friends missing the first 10min of the movie. It felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just for being there. We won't be rushing back to pay for bad service and insanely over-priced popcorn.
I cancelled our family membership in December... or so I thought. They only took me off and have left my wife on and want to charge R800 membership fees for April. I tried to call but get transferred from one consultant to another, then put on hold for ever... I guess in the hope that you'll give up and they can keep charging you. Now I'm informed that even though they stopped my account, and confirmed that the whole family membership was cancelled, they need to speak to my wife directly to cancel hers. If you're thinking of joining, don't!
Even before lock-down I was struggling to get a response from my private banker. We had a great first meeting, but since then I have had conflicting information and no assistance. I received an email saying they had changed the debit order date for my personal loan, but it's still going off on the same date. There are a number of other things they promised to help with, and despite numerous emails over the last week I still haven't heard anything back.
