Pedro cresta crossing - Slow counter experience, payment machines don’t work, kitchen is super noisy and lots of shouting by staff. Telephone orders take preference to those standing in the que. Management needs to do better. Sit in experience is unpleasant as staff are shouting out orders and requests.
1. Expectation is the pavers should be cleaned with reasonable measures – this is not the case. The pavers that was installed hold dirt unreasonable, looks dirty all the time and is a eyesore. 2. Red flags that I noted on the pavers (color variation, long drying time etc.) was dismissed by the installer and the salesperson at the point of installing. 3. I called the installer to come and inspect the job after the issue of the dirt holding to which he admitted to there being a problem with the paver and I must speak to the salesperson and to the owner Keith. 4. The salesperson completely abdicated my after sales query to the admin person, stating he only does sales. 5. Aggressive first call with the lady claiming she is admin, yet she is the only person one can speak to when you call and all email correspondence goes and comes from her. 6. The admin lady claimed to know what the problem was but did not want to tell me because she would get into trouble before speaking with Keith. 7. The paver installed is completely different to the reference point I had with salesperson (i.e., the installation they did in Linden where they advertised with a board) 8. A person referred by the company to clean the paving as a solution, agreed that nothing more could be done after I provided a detailed account of how the paving has been cleaned. He also said all costs would be for Keith, inconsistent to admin lady’s email to me. 9. Poor after sales service! Almost a month to deal with my after sales query. 10. I feel cheated as I am treated as a “stupid” consumer for my complaints. I have no reason to want to be inconvenienced with a removal of paving etc. however this paving has become an eyesore. 11. Not one call made from Keith – everything channeled through his admin person. 12. Three of they own people, the admin lady, the installer and the person tasked to come and clean the paving have acknowledged that there is something wrong with the paver yet this company completely and blatantly denies that there is something wrong with the paver! 13. They claim to have 25 years’ experience etc on the website yet they can’t see spot an obvious issue with the pavers they have installed for me – it is substandard!
I went into the main branch on 5 Simmonds str because i was told it would be easier! What a horrible experience. I completed and submitted an access faculty application on the 24 July and to this day it has not been activated. I had to go into the branch 5 times to fax and refax documentation only to find out today that the branch has not completed a section of the form. The process has taken over a month compared to the 4day process. Standard bank has incompetent and useless ppl working for them. They call centers are as incompetent and has wasted my time, costed me in terms of calls and driving.
