I am extremely dissatisfied with Standard Bank's handling of my home loan contract. Without any verbal or written agreement, they extended my contract term from 20 years to 30 years. When I raised this issue with them, they admitted that they have no records of such an agreement. I lodged a formal complaint with their complaints department, but their response was inadequate. The only documents they could provide were the original 20-year contract and payment statements—none of which justify the extension. It is highly concerning that a financial institution can alter a contract without the customer’s consent. This raises serious questions about transparency and accountability. I urge Standard Bank to take responsibility for this issue and correct the contract to reflect the originally agreed-upon terms. I am sharing my experience here to warn others and to seek urgent resolution from Standard Bank.
Yesterday the 6th April 2021 I finally had my installed after months of being taken from pillar to post. When I got a call from UPMC I was not optimistic that they will be able to carry out the job as I've had fibre installers before and they could not resolve my issue. Jansen spent 4hours of hard work and exploring different options to ensure that my fibre was installed. I was impressed with his level of optimism and how he handled the whole process. He was able to carry out the installation amidst challenges of blocked fibre pipes. The job was neatly and professionally done. Thank you Jasen and your assistant, thank you UPMC for a job well done.
Utterly Disgusted:<br> <br> following the beautiful rating I gave Auto and General on good customer service received when I took my vehicle for assessment , I am disappointed to tell your that our claim remains outstanding to date. we are told that our access has been increased from R.5000 to R9000, almost 100% increase, please give answers to this, premiums are deducted on monthly basis but there is no service. I hope you are going to give this matter the attention it deserves. The increase was never communicated to us,there is blame shifting and it is unfair on us. please respond.
