Absolutely terrible. I had placed an order on 2 February 2026 for activation on 1 March 2026 and here I sit on 3 March 2026 with no internet. Even a request to cancel the order so that I may sign up with a provider who is actually willing to provide the requested service is simply ignored. Not only was my cancellation request ignored, I have been informed that the service is now active. Maybe that's the secret with this company.
They only get 1 star because 0 is not allowed. No customer service or even ethics. They take forever to even activate you in the first place but will do so immediately when you request to cancel. Then it's endless poor network performance and reasons for why you are not allowed to cancel or why you need to pay to cancel even if you signed up for a month to month product. What a pathetic company, please avoid.
Absolutely pathetic. Signed for a fibre service over a month ago to start today and it's still not active. People do not even answer the phones and then person who does sounds half asleep.
Great service received from the agent although the self-service portal does not provide the service that is promised.
Poor support during outages or even just to sign up. Not advisable should you depend on your line.
Terrible service service from day one, I had to actually spend the entire first day just begging them to activate my service. Incompetent, slow and dishonest. Despite having an app and online portal, nothing happens unless you phone them, I have tickets that were logged online months ago that are still open. Even during outages with the FNO, they first resort to blame your equipment rather than investigate that possibility. Don't fall for the free installation gimmick as this only applies should you stay for 12 months despite being advertised as month to month, you will be charged for the installation cost should you leave sooner. I'm giving a 1 star rating as 0 is not possible. I'm so glad to be leaving.
I required a jump start of my vehicle, I was assisted by Willie Scholtz who was extremely professional and helpful, I was assisted immediately which amazing considering the current lockdown and that it is a Saturday and the service provider assisted me within an hour and the vehicle is match fit again
I submitted a claim for my motor vehicle and was assisted by Peter Rankhathali, he was extremely professional, knowledgable and provided me with excellent sevice.
Complaints aren't taken seriously, I have complained about inconsistent speeds, rather than acknowledging and investigating this complaint, they chose to blame my network setup (which was done according to their instructions), I have experiences numerous outages and during these, the response times from CISP left much to be desired, in the most recent instance, my line was down for 2 days during the festive season and during this time the fault that I reported was not even looked at, due to the accumulation of incidents of poor service, I then decided to cancel my account and Cool Ideas refuses to do so despite the fact that I have already been migrated to a new ISP
