I recently had to get major back surgery. The specialist confirmed that it was a PMB condition since I could not walk drive or go to work anymore and was in severe pain permanently. I had a bad fall 2 years ago and broke my ankle which could have been partially the cause of this damage but unfortunately it can not be proven now. He submitted a quotation to Medihelp and also stated that it was part of the procedure that I will have to get a health essential functional prosthesis and that it is a integral part of the operation. Firstly Medihelp did not want to approve the operation as a PMB and I had to make a co-payment of R11 100,00. They also did not advise that the prosthesis which cost R7350 will not be covered. In the rules it states that health essential functional prosthesis covered up to R21 900.00. Without this the operation can not be a success Medihelp!!! Then I have problem with the aftercare section. Medihelp only covers physiotherapy for 30 days after discharge. Normally therapy can only start after the 2 weeks which means that you only have 2 weeks cover. 2 years ago I broke my ankle. I was discharged in about 3 days but had a cast on which was only take off 4 weeks after discharge. Nobody can get physiotherapy with a cast on their leg. I find this whole service and non payment totally unacceptable and is extremely disappointed in medihelp. I have been with them for many years and never had this type of problem with them.
I wrote a review and complained be cause they had City of Joburg council as an electronic council which they are not and a considerable was the result due to that. However the next day I was contacted by Lorenzo Barry from Lexis. He apologised and advised that they are in the process of removing COJ from the system until further notice. He undertook to personally go to COJ and get the clearance certificate sorted out for me! I want to thank him because he really did excel and lived to the undertaking that he made on behalf of Lexis. yester day at about 13h30 he personnaly delivered the certificate to me in Pretoria. As I told Lorenze that is exceptional service. I can with peace of mind recommend Lexisnexis for excellent service and going the extra mile. Can confirm that I will make use of them only in the future!!!! WELL DONE LEXISNEXIS!!!!!!!!!!!
I am working for an attorney firm. Lexis rates added City of Joburg to their list of electronic councils. We requested figures through Lexis. It took about 25 working days before we received the figure and that was after I have phoned, logged queries with lexis and send several emails. Finally we could make payment of the figures and asked the person at Lexis Nexis how soon we could expect the certificate just to be informed that the certificate is not issued electronically we must go and collect the certificate ourselves. We are based in Pretoria. I asked the consultant if they could give me contact details to find out from the council what can be done since this certificate is urgently needed. He just answered sorry dont have a number. If a group like Lexis put a council on their system under electronic councils it is expected that things will be electronic. If that is not the case they should adivse on their system that certificates is not issued electronically. If this was know to me before hand I would used an agent or used their competition Law who personally collect certificates. I am utterly disappointed in this services from Lexis and then they charge a fee for basically doing nothing. I will never use them again and also want to warn other conveyancing firms to be on the look out.

i have logged a previous complain and still have the same problem it has not yet been resolved. i can not watch box office movies and that is why i got explora. i want this contract cancelled and all my money plus expenses repaid. if this is not resolved in the next 3 days i am going to sue multichoice they are useless
decoder installed on 15/2/16 although I was billed from 10/2/2016.<br> 1. the decoder was installed on 15/2/16 since then I could not rent a movie i phoned multichoice and they advised that the installer must come back the installation is not correct installer came back checked and confirm installation is in order installer advised me to take the decoder back they know about other clients who also have this problem i took back the decoder decoder was exchanged new decoder was installed 2/3/2016 i waited the 48 hours for download of box office decoder showed box office not available in my region i phone 4/3/2016 call center they went through all the test and said box office should work i must bring the decoder back later the same day 4/3 i phoned them again and the other consultant advised that box office had problems with decoder 1 march and they are working on the problem i must not bring the decoder in everything they tested was working as it should from 1 march and they are working on the problem i must not bring the decoder in everything they tested was working as it should since 4/3 i have phoned 4 times and everytime they say they are escalating the matter this is

I have been using two types of tables since 2011 and always got that prescribed by my GP who got this approved on my chronic medication by Medihelp Necesse option. since January this year they did not want to pay the two tablets and I have been trying since then to get this sorted out. Ater I have phoned them several times, my gp also phoned and also completed the necessary online, they advised my GP now, this is 5 months later, that this must be prescribed by a specialist, my cardiologist. I phoned the medical aid this morning and after beking kept on the line for 25 min I still did not get a solution. The person at the call centre jerome advised that I had to go to a specialist. he said that if medication was prescribed by a GP, a gp can prescribe the medice again., BUT if it was prescribed by a specialist, a specialist must prescribed it again. What they totally do not look at is that my medication was prescribed in the FIRST place by a GP and that the specialist only repeated the script of the GP. I have tried to get this under their attention with no sucess.
