Lack of Qualified Teachers: One of the most glaring issues is the absence of qualified teachers. It's shocking to see a supposed educational institution employ individuals who lack the necessary credentials and experience to teach effectively. This has a direct, negative impact on students' learning and growth. Neglect of Core Subjects: Even more alarming is the fact that some core subjects go untaught for months. Can you imagine sending your child to school, only to discover they aren't receiving instruction in essential subjects like mathematics or science? This neglect is unacceptable and demonstrates a blatant disregard for students' academic futures. Disorganisation and Unprofessionalism: The school's overall lack of organisation and professionalism is evident in nearly every interaction. From inconsistent communication with parents to chaotic administrative processes, Oceans Private Schools operates with a level of disarray that is both frustrating and concerning. It’s clear that management is either unwilling or incapable of running an educational institution effectively. Money Over Education: Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of all is the school's apparent prioritisation of profit over quality education. Final Verdict: I strongly urge all parents to stay far, far away from Oceans Private Schools. If you value your child's education and well-being, look elsewhere. DO. NOT. INSURE. YOUR. CAR. WITH. DISCOVERY. THAT'S IT. YOU WILL HAVE HEADACHE AND NOT GET ASSISTANCE
I have lodged a claim with Discovery 2 days ago and the car is still waiitng to be picked up for assessments. They keep giving empty promises, saying they will email and call for updates but they never do. They never give you proper answer regarding the status of your claim, Cleo will hang up on you, Nelisiwe Khumalo who is apparently the Claims Specialist and is the only one who can give that update DOES NOT respond to email and is always busy when we call. So much for emergency assistance 2 days later - no assistance has been received. Discovery is disappointing and frustrating.
