Contacted Mervyn from Appliance repair on Hannaford Road phoenix on mervynnaidoo354@gmail.com and 0658698018, to repair a door handle on our dish washer and repair a leaking aircon. On the first day Jay comes to our property and says the dishwasher needs a new motherboard which will cost R1400. Which we rejected as only the handle was broken. Within a few hours the motherboard price changed to R750. which we agreed on the condition that the give us back the motherboard that they have taken out. The aircon they stated required a service which they charged us R650 for. We agreed. the next day the air con is not working at all. A guy by the name of Melvyn drops of the dish washer and rushes of because he has a flat tyre and apparently the motherboard is in the other vehicle. The dishwasher door handle was not repaired. Upon numerous phone calls from Thursday we eventually email Mervyn on Monday. As both Jay and Melvyn started ignoring all calls. When we advise them that they have contacted fraud and we have phone call recordings, video evidence and watsapp message as proof, Jay denies even working for the company. Mervyn responds stating these guys no longer work for him and he was not even aware of the aircon service. He stated on email that he will sort the problem out personally in two weeks. We requested that he sorts the problem out the next day. Till today nobody has contacted us to rectify the problem. Upon research we have seen that many people have had problems with this same company. The have basically robbed us of R1580 including a call out fee, and now we have to pay someone else to correct the damages they have created. We have sent one voice recording to Mervyn and since then he has been avoiding us as well. Other numbers include 067 076 7361, and 0813739737. If they do not contact me and rectify problems we will use all evidence and press fraud charges.
Dear MTN Complaint regarding Westwood Mall. I went to Westwood branch 19July to upgrade my contract to the Nokia 7 plus on the medium package, as the Pavillion branch did not have stock. I was advised on the day by Pearl that the package cost R350. While waiting over an hour the staff were more interested in complaining about the work conditions of MTN and the fact they had to pay back for any training MTN does with them including the training of using the MTN system. Around 6pm they were more interested in leaving the store and told me they would finalise the contract and email it to me over the weekend. An Indian guy that lives in Amanzimtoti and Pearl left the stop while Kaylene continued to help. (Took 3 staff members to help thus far). After sitting there for over an hour Kaylene asked for my email address and said she will finalise the contractor when the system is back up and send me the contract over the weekend, I agreed. Over the weekend I receive an SMS saying I was upgraded to the small package. I tried contacting them over the weekend but its very rare for the branch to answer their phone and finally got hold of Kaylene on Monday or Tuesday who advised that no the small package is R350 and they made a mistake, and I need to come back into the store for them to change the contract. I advised her that online and the July Brochure clearly state that the small package is R299, they must give it to me on the price they told me the medium package is (R350) and I am not willing to come back to the store as it was their mistake. Upon numerous phone calls, I told them take the phone back and I will take the contract from Pavillion. I finally spoke to regional Manager Nick and advised him of the problem. I eventually agreed to pay R369 on the medium package although that was not what I was initially told and just asked them to upgrade my package. Till today my contract has not been changed to the correct package. Once my data and minutes are finished and I need to buy for the month would MTN Westwood compensate me as prepaid rates are much more than contract rates? Would Westwood compensate me for all the call, and time and energy wasted on trying to get this matter resolved since July?? Please can somebody provide me feedback as the Westwood branch very rarely answers their calls.
I was at kfc melmoth on thursday 28 April at about 1320. Stood in the line. The cashier serves the elderly african lady before me and walks away. I stand there about 5 minutes just waiting. Another lady keeps telling the female cashier to serve me. The cashier says something in zulu and doesnt come. After being asked about 4 times she comes. I ask her for a hashbrown veg burger. Which i usually order every month i am in melmoth. She responds saying no we dont have hashbrown. I asked for veg patty she says no we dont sell any of that. I told her i buy it here all the time. She says no we dont sell it. I got annoyed and said loudly first you dont want to serve me and now you tell me yourl dont keep hashbrown. The lady who kept asking the cashier to serve me just looks at me. I walk out. I phone customer care and complain I walk back in and ask for the manager. Turns out the lady who kept asking the cashier to serve me and heard me say how can you not have hashbrown was the manager. The manager watched as the racist cashier refused to serve me and lied about the products kfc sells and did nothing. I asked her why didnt she correct the cashier she said i walked out so she couldnt. After the customer complaints phoned the manager and tells her about my complaint she then phones me when i am back in durban to ask me what can she offer me. Too late!!! Firstly i would like the franchise owner to respond to the racism in his/ her store. Secondly i want feedback on the disciplinary action against the racist cashier. Thirdly i want to know what disciplinary action will happen to the manager who just watched the racist behaviour and being refused service.. Waiting for a proper response before i take this
