I received a DEFECTIVE Reggies Garage Lot track for my Sons 4th birthday as a gift. I told the manager that the product is defective and has a flaw as the pieces of the track have no way of fitting together or to the garage lot part of the whole toy, still he could not do anything without the slip. I went on to explain that it is a defective product, they have taken the money for a product that does not work at all, or cannot be put together or used, he said i needed to phone customer service and ask them how they can help me, but theres nothing he can do. Not being a first time buyer of anything, i had the previous day already attempted to contact customer service, via phone and email, to no avail. after phoning customer service for Toys R us twice and being on hold (not even getting through to anyone) for almost an HOUR each call, i then sent off the email, again to no avail. I am disgusted that a store i shop at frequently, cannot assist with a defect product, even after their staff themselves tried to assemble it and couldnt because of the defective items inside, but i am told Sorry no, keep the defective product, we will keep the money unless you have a slip. This particular item which i received 2 of as gifts for my son are still on shelves and being sold even though they are defective. They will happily take the money however will not refund nevermind even exchange a DEFECTIVE product.
