I took out a R249 contract home lte with MTN. It was ment to be delivered the Wednesday but only arrived 2 days later. I was told it would be plug and play but it's day 3 now and still have no internet connection. I've tried to call the department but the call keeps dropping. Help please. I purchased a 3kw inverter kit from them in Feb this year. The product came and was installed into my business and was working great. Not even 2 weeks later the device failed. I was told to send it back on my cost. I waited more then 4 weeks for the inverter to be returned after numerous requests when it will be replaced only to receive the same inverter still not working. It's now again almost 4 weeks later and still no guarantee whether I am getting a new in inverter since the product was still within it's waranty period. I paid R10350 with courier for this package. I am sitting with the batteries but no inverter. I feel depleted having to keep on asking if it will be replaced but keep on hitting a dead end. Its now almost 3 months with such poor customer service. I raved about Ledtronix but take it back.
Due to Covid-19 I was unfortunately without a job due to the fact that I am a hairstylist. I have settled my account in full as I am working again. I requested if my airtime that was locked be reinstated but to my disappointment I was told I forfeit the minutes and airtime for the 3 months the account was suspended. To my knowledge I know that I was in arrears not to my doing but due to a pandemic worldwide. My question is why? I paid in full and expect what I paid for to be rewarded what's due to what my contract state I should get monthly. This has never happened before if my account was paid late and suspended before.
I had a complaint last year December about my MTN account that had problems. I cannot understand for a company this huge that there staff can be so unreliable and f...up a persons account like they do. In February I recieved a statement stating that my balance is R0,00 asumming the account has been closed due to the huge volume amount of airtime not being used. I requested a credit report and discovered that I have been handed over. For the Love of Christ I do not know and as to why I cannot think that if something was wrong with my account that they would contact me. Via email or contact details. Today I recieved a invoice saying I am 4 payments behind with a total of R1500 to be paid. How in the blazes can a person get these people to fix your account and do there DAMN work. Getting a hold of them is a nightmare. Please help me with this. No person has money to just cough up when they demand money and for my credit score I think that there is nothing one can do.
