I want to share my experience with GoSolr to help others make an informed decision. Timeline of Events: 27 Jan 2025: I emailed GoSolr requesting an upgrade from a medium to a large system. 22 Feb 2025: After repeated follow-ups, Amber from GoSolr sent the upgrade form, which I promptly completed. 29 Jul 2025: After further queries, Beaulah in finance sent an invoice. I paid immediately and sent proof of payment. No action followed. 5 Aug 2025: Dianne Lucus requested proof of payment I had already submitted. 7 Aug 2025: Dianne confirmed the upgrade order was created and Sparki would contact me. Installation & Problems: 6 Aug 2025: A Sparki team found a faulty circuit breaker at my house. They replaced it, but the electrician incorrectly earthed two neutral cables. 11 Aug 2025: During the upgrade, the Sparki electrician noted messy wiring and a full main DB board, moving circuit breakers in the process. Work concluded at 19:30. 16 Aug 2025: Guests in my Airbnb reported no electricity. I discovered the earth leakage in my sub-DB board was burnt and smoking. I paid over R3,000 to replace it. Damage: Air conditioning and Wi-Fi modem were damaged. Garden irrigation pressure pump and gate motors were fried, with multiple failed repair attempts. Investigation & Findings: Sparki sent a technician, Phakesa, who found abnormal voltage readings and discovered that the upgrade electrician had connected the solar neutral wire to the Eskom cable feeding the same sub-DB. After Phakesa’s intervention, the system stabilized, and repairs to my equipment were successful. Claim for Damages: 10 Sep 2025: I submitted a formal claim for R33,000 in damages. 10 Oct 2025: Sparki refused to reimburse, citing my recording of their employee (legal under South African law), use of an external electrician (allowed by my contract for non-solar issues), and delay in damage occurrence. Conclusion: I will not allow Sparki or GoSolr back onto my property due to the financial risk. I am pursuing full recovery of my expenses. Warning to Others: Please be cautious when using GoSolr or Sparki services. Their installation errors caused extensive damage and expense, and they have refused accountability.
On January 23rd, I purchased 2000 bricks, river sand, and plaster sand from these ****mers. The delivery was scheduled for January 25th. However, on the morning of the 25th, I received a message saying that the weekend drivers didn’t show up, and the delivery was postponed to Monday, January 27th. Of course, no delivery was made. I've been in constant contact with them and requested a refund, but that never happened. Then, on Saturday, February 15th, I spoke with "Kobus" again. He begged me to have mercy on him and promised to personally visit an ATM to deposit my refund before 5:00 PM. Again, nothing happened. I want to warn others about these ****mers—do not buy from them. They will take your money, and you will never receive what you paid for.
I got vehicle finance and a personal loan from Standard Bank in 2012. Shortly after I lost my job and could not honor my commitments. I was sequestrated in 2014. In 2016 Standard Bank unlawfully put 2 judgements on my name. I have been struggling for days to get a statement from Standard Bank for the personal loan acc no: 411233424 and vehicle finance acc no: 020564290001. I have been rehabilitated and these 2 judgements from Standard bank is the reason I cannot buy property. No-one gets back to you and I have nothing on paper from them. Really not a very good business to deal with.
On 13-10-2017 I received an email from Gloria Buthelezi at Telkom, saying our business line is up for renewal. We had a chat and I decided to take the Landline Lookalike Package as we are without a phone line quite often. I then had to follow up with her and she came back on 31-10-2017 saying: "I apologise for not coming back to you,I created your application for FLLa on 31/10/2017 for R299 with biztalk250.you order number is TCM ********** ,you can do the follow up I will also do follow up on my side" . To date, I am still waiting on the new package to be activated. I called in this morning again and surprise surprise, the order "disappeared:" and they can't pick up my order on the order number. I said to the lady I spoke to that it must be difficult to work for such a useless company. I am so fed up with them, I think I amgoing to move over to VOX

Our business line died on 30 November and was reported promptly. I have called on Friday the 2nd of Dec and was told my fault is in the queue to be assigned to a technician. Guess what?? My fault is still waiting to be assigned to a technician. This is absolutely terrible service from Telkom and in the meantime I am losing clients and money on a daily basis but they just don't give a damn. I want someone from Telkom to sort this out ASAP. We can not carry on like this! What is going on? This is really making my life a misery and I am seriously contemplating taking my business elsewhere

After reporting my business line on here last week I received a call from Telkom and they sent people out the same day. The technicians that were here said the cable needed to be replace and it will be done before the 1st of April. When I called Telkom on the 31st, they told me that the problem has been solved and the fault was closed. When I insisted the line is still not working, the lady tested the line again and found it to be faulty (still). I got a new reference number and that was the last i heard from them. i AM FED-UP. FIX THIS LINE OR TELL ME IF YOU CAN'T SO I CAN USE VOIP OR MOBILE
Our business line has been damaged nearly 2 weeks ago. Despite being told that repair should not take long seeing that it is a business line, we are still waiting and losing money on a daily basis. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS LINE??? This is unacceptable.
If Telkom does not want our business, please let me know, there are other options out there.
I have a foot injury and have not been to Planet Fitness in at least 2 years. Every month the debit order goes off my account and I just let it be. Today I decided I am going to cancel this contract that I never use, and hear for the very first time that the contract is on a 12 month auto-renew contract and I will have to pay in R1500. Well, I am sorry. This is exactly why people get warned against gym memberships. This is daylight robbery. If PF see that I have not been there in 2 years, why auto-renew my contract? To steal from people, that is why.
I am going to put a stop payment on this. I have never agreed to an auto-renew and if I had, it was never explained to me. One of those \fine print"contracts. I need this sorted"""
I have a business line with Telkom. Over the past 6 months I have reported the line as faulty at least 4 times. Every time they send someone, I explain the problem and they \fix"it but the problem is still there. The last time I spoke to a person who said he knows exactly what the problem is as I am not the only person on the 012 333 extension with the same problem. Well"
