Good day, I initiated a credit card application early in April. My children have moved to the USA and I would like to have the use of a lovely Capitec Credit Card. I have been an enthusiastic Capitec Client since 2009. Even after numerous communications I have twice been denied. I am penalized because I manage my finances very carefully! And I do not have a credit score. But I have a very good investment portfolio and receive income from a Prescient Income Fund and a 10X Living Annuity. I have a JSE Stock Portfolio and PSG Offs**** Stock Portfolio and other investments and own my flat outright. Statements were emailed to Capitec. PLEASE REASSESS MY APPLICATION !
Absa info states that I can online apply and pay for my new passport ; Collection then at Absa Stellenbosch branch. Seems like an excellent idea at the time! BUT: Unable to make online payment for new passport fee for Department Home Affairs. Using the DHA online application page a payment authorisation was requested from Absa on 2023-01-09 at 10.24.55 am. Used Absa app to log on repeatedly until 3 min ago, no transaction authorisation is shown, so I am unable to make the payment before the 24 h window lapses. I also went to the Somerset West Absa branch, but although trying to help, Elaine de Souza was unable to assist me. Please help asap! I do not want to tackle the DHA queue!

In a follow-up of tiresome family trust banking matters at the Absa Somerset West branch, Roxane Schietekat assisted me with online banking on my phone; she was so friendly and efficiently! Went up to the very capable Christine Hearne to link share account to cheque account and Roxane showed me exactly how to use it. Even wrote down how to do SARS payments! My long struggle has a happy ending. Thank you so much Roxane and Christine - professionals!
