I think this company is a scam. Ordered a product over a month ago. Got a tracking number when it was dispatched 3 weeks ago and still no product delivered. No one from the courier company or Mr Shopper answers calls, emails, WhatsApps or FB Messenger messages. Disgusting service.
Scam golf cart business! Nice looking website advertising golf carts, supposedly based in Upington. I ordered online and payed via EFT. After the golf cart had been "dispatched" I was held to ransom to pay and extra R27,000 in refundable fees for "insurance deposits" and "SAD clearances" else my cart would not arrive and I would not get my money back. "Dave" is the criminal behind this, do not trust this dodgy foreign fellow. Fraud cases opened with the bank and SAPS.
I took out a rain 5G contract in December knowing that I had a month in which I could cancel the contract and return the router should the speeds not be sufficient. I tried it for a week but wasn’t achieving the speeds that were promised (no fault of rain, my housejust out of decent coverage). I called them to advise I ouodnt be going ahead with the contract and no questions asked they agreed to collect the router and refund me. The router was returned however I have still,had debit orders deducted off my bank account for about 3 months after that. After countless calls, emails and Facebook messages no one has advised or offered to help me het my money back. I am beyond frustrated and angry. Do not use this company, they are thieves who will not refund owed monies.
I applied online and was succesful with the uncapped wireless broadband special Telkom was running in certain areas on 19 November 2015. This is effectively a 24 month uncapped LTE service at a cost of R599 per month. I was sent an automated email saying I was successful and a ticket number, it also mentioned I would be contacted by an agent soon. Now over a month later, many attempts at calling the call centre, 2 visits to the Telkom Fourways Crossing store (who said they couldn't assist me) and much correspondence on Telkom's facebook messenger I have STILL not been contacted?? I am now forced to pay nearly double the amount for a normal LTE contract as I desperately need internet at home and Telkom sadly is the only provider in my area on which I get coverage.<br> Telkom seemingly is making so much money that they can refuse to respond to new customers, or their customer service is so shocking they simply do not care. To me it's a scam and maybe these so called promotions are just to lure a customer in and then force them to take out a more expensive contract.<br> I am frustrated beyond belief. They may be cleaning up their image, but they are still another incompetent govt. agency.
I have written 2 previous reports on this company due to a loss of goods whilst in their storage as well as damages caused to Estate property caused by the driving damaging an exit boom. All in all they have caused over R40k in loss and damages of which Tom O Boyle has not taken the slightest amount of responsibility for. He no longer answers calls or emails. This was after I had a so called insurance policy on my moving contract. I have been in contact with his insurance company who advised that there was a breakin on his premises whilst my goods were there, but there was NO alarm system installed thus the claim was repudiated. Tom is a crook, he's a liar and he is a thug. This company has to be shut down, they are a law unto their own and Tom will lie blatantly to get a deal. He is a terrible man operating a scam for a business. <br> Any help to close them down would be appreciated.
