Very good price, very good service ordered on Thursday, delivered on Monday to KZN. No problem getting through by phone.
At the beginning of March I had to go Capetown on business and needed to hire a car at the airport.

The previous day I deposited funds in my credit card so that I could use it to hire a car.

However, because my credit card was in arrears, Nedbank did not clear the amount and sat on my payment, so I was unable to hire the car. (Thanks, Nedbank).

First still deducted R1,525 deposit when it did clear, despite me not getting a car, nor being present for the transaction.

When I asked for the deposit to be refunded, First claimed that there was no record of my credit card payment.

I had to go to Nedbank, get a stamped printout of my account and dump it on their desk before they acknowledged the deposit had been taken. This was at the end of May.

First finally sent me \Proof of Payment"on the second of June that the money has been refunded. Two weeks later"
My sister deposited R1000 into a dormant account of mine. I have been told by a very disagreeable call centre consultant the money could not be paid back to my sister's Standard Bank account and that I would have to open another account with Wizzit with all the inconvenience of FICA etc and have it transferred to the new account - surely this would need more admin than just returning it to the account it came from. A similar thing happened to me with FNB and they just reversed the money back to the account that it had come from. Surely it cannot be right that another account has to be opened in order to get these funds back?
I was contacted and asked whether I would like to take out scratch insurance for my vehicle for R99 per month. I declined. A short time later R99 was deducted from my account. As I was not expecting this, it put my account into overdraft. This caused Nedbank to penalise me R120 for a returned debit. Regent contacted me to complain that payment had not been made and when I advised them that I had not agreed to the scratch cover, they apologised for the mistake and said it would be rectified. This month I was debited R198 by Regent, presumably two installments of R99. This has once again thrown me into overdraft with Nedbank. I have to ask whether Nedbank are complicit in these scams as they are making a fortune out of something that I definitely didn't ask for.
