We have been trying to sort credits from Stellenbosch university for weeks with no reply. Numbers are unanswered and I am directed from pillar to post. Information was sent in October 2025 already and was completed once again online in person on campus. I have phoned the Newlands Campus repeatedly without reply and the numbers for credit enquiries is answered by the marketing office at Ruimsig who only redirect my call. My daughter has no idea what textbooks to buy or what classes to attend next we3ek. The service has been non-existent, hope this is not what we signed up for at almost R 120K per annum.
I app**** for authorisation for a procedure on 13 August 2024. On 14 August I received correspondence that the medical review team would give feedback within 2-3 days. It is now 7 business days later and no feedback. Unfortunately this is the same procedure EVERY time (every 3 - 4 months) when I have to obtain pre-authorisation for the procedure. The service by Discovery is very disappointing!!!
I applied for a line extension in my study on 21 September 2015 - no new lines, only an additional jack in a room. I have subsequently spoken to 2 customer service officials (after the initial contact advising me that it is a new service and it will be addressed within 21 days) who have escalated my request and still no word - this after I was promised last week that I would receive a call by the end of the day to book a time.
My iphone is still under warranty and I have sent it in for repairs due to no reception / screen flashing / unable to answer calls. I had to send it in once again for the same problem but since the 1st complaint (no new handset was issued!) my phone has a small crack on the screen. Vodacom now refuses to repair the handset but expects me to pay R3500 for a new handset, this after they have a record of the SAME problem before the small crack in the screen. I am cancelling my 3 contracts with Vodacom and will move to another supplier.
