My late husband Ben Hlongwane ID No:6309115497082 was an employee of the SSA, he passed away on the 08.August .2021.At the time of his death our youngest child Rifumo Omphilekhumo Botlhokwa Hlongwane ID No:0703275321080 was 14 yrs old and his portion as one of the beneficiaries to Ben’s estate was sent to master of the high court until he turns 18yrs. Every beginning of the year I as the mother/guardian have to sent quotations for everything(school fees, uniform, stationery, transport, clothes etc) he needs for the year. Last year I sent the quotations and 6 weeks later they paid. This year I sent the quotations in March via email because everytime I went to their offices on my off days, its either they were offline or there was something wrong with the system, till today the fees haven’t been paid,no stationery,no textbooks,no uniform and I was informed that they don’t want receipts, only quotations. Everytime I try to enquire about the progress,I am been referred to someone different by the assistant master Anneke Lightfoot. The service there is bad and it seems like no one cares.I still don’t understand the reason why the funds were sent to the master’s office in the first place. Your urgent assistance is requested in this matter.
I don't feel safe using the money app any more as I have encounter few challenges and when I contact the customer care I don't receive the help that I need.On the 31st of December 2023 I made an immediate payment using payshap which they claim clears immediately at a fee.I paid R780 to the South African Nursing Council (SANC) account which is with FNB,the 31st was the last day of payment. I was charged a fee and I received proof of payment to my suprise the council only received payment on the 2nd of January 2024,which was 2 days late and therefore resulted in my name being removed from the council's roll as a registered nurse. On the 31st January I contacted the SANC to find out why I couldn't find my name on their roll when I checked for it using their app then I was informed that I was removed from the roll as the payment only reflected 2 days late, I contacted Nedbank help centre at 15:41 on their toll free number and I think I spoke to Skhumbuzo, who asked me for a specific time I made the payment,I didn't know I had to keep record of such and it was not the 1st time I was asked for a specific time I used the app. Skhumbuzo told me he will escalate the query to his supervisor and the supervisor will make contact with me,I am still waiting even today. I am unable to practice until I pay the R2300 fine for my name to be reinstated.
Someone by the name of Anton Hattingh who claims to be working for FDE debt collectors is harassing me with, house visits, taking photos of the outside and the inside of my yard over the gate without permission, phone calls, speaking in a very rude manner and whatsapp messages, threatening me with court orders, warrants and sheriff. I am not sure if that’s how the company operates as it seems like invasion of privacy and compromising safety.I am not denying the fact that my late husband is owing wesbank but this feels like ************,harassment and abuse( verbal) he speaks to me like I am mentally challenged. I am certain if I was of a different race and gender, the treatment would be different. I requested for a settlement amount he sent it through whatsapp, there was an email on of Zandile Mncwane from wesbank but when I try to send an email to it, its says its an unattended mailbox,I feel like something is not right here.
My late husband was financed by wesbank in 2019 when he bought a vehicle, he unfortunately passed away 2 years later in 2021.It has been a struggle to get a definite thing and way forward regarding payment of the vehicle.Yesterday I received a call from a guy by the name of Anton Hattingh, who was very rude on the phone and threatening me with the sheriff, warrant and court order, he claimed to be from FDE debt collectors and that he was at my home at that time.I was not at home at that time,I was at work, only my kids were home.He asked for Mr Ben Hlongwane(my late husband) and my son told him he passed on he then said 'he knows' and then asked where I was and my son gave him my contact numbers. My son verbalises that he(Anton) was knocking very rough at the gate that they couldn't ignore him as it was during load shedding and the intercom was not functioning.I don't mean to be ****** or anything but I don't think if I was of a different race and gender he was going to have the same attitude as the one he came with at my home.He took pictures of the outside of my yard and took the inside of the yard over the gate without my permission and were sent to me through whatsapp.I am not sure if that is allowed and I don't know the reasons for the photos taken, I feel that it was invasion of my privacy and compromising my safety.Anything can happen, you can't trust anyone especially people you don't know.I have 3 other vehicles that belong to Wesbank parked in the yard and 2 bikes, he could have taken the photos to later send people to come rob us as he knows that it's only me and the kids. I have a 2 metre wall at the front of my yard because I don't feel comfortable when people who pass by can see the inside of my yard but Anton managed to take photos of the inside of my yard over the gate,I am curious as to how he took them. I don't deny the fact that my late husband is owing wesbank and that as the executrix of his estate I am liable to settle all his debts but let my privacy and safety not be compromised in the process.I can't believe any unidentified stranger that come to my house claiming to be a debt collector from wesbank.
On the 13th June 2022,I wrote a review about the pathetic service, bullying and the harassment I received from Wesbank. Clara Harvie a service resolution consultant replied to my review,She told me she has referred my complaint to the relevant department and that I will be contacted within 2-3 working days, it's now more than a week and no contact has been made. I unfortunately only received an email from Lorraine Mazibuko from colserve who was threatening me of legal action/court order because I refused to Surender the vehicle because according to her I was unable to finance it.4 minutes later she tried to recall the email which I had unfortunate opened and read already.
My husband Mr Ben Hlongwane passed away on the 08 August 2021 and a government employee.I submitted the forms that were sent to me by the employer in August,I was told they only received then in September.I kept on phoning to make a follow up on the payments, we have 3 kids of which all are still under my care.In February 2022 they made a payment for the 2 children who are over 18 and I was expecting my payment to also be done shortly after that.I waited until May when Wesbank wanted the settlement of Mr Hlongwane's that he was still paying when he passed on.I was told that the payment bounced back or was reversed as the was a problem with the initial on the bank form.No one bothered to contact me about whatever problem they encountered during the attempted payment.they then sent me a form that I had to take to my bank to be completed, which I did and I submitted it at their offices in Pretoria on the 17th May 2022,I was told the process of reissuing will take 6-8 weeks,I couldn't get the 60 day letter that I could show the bank that was harassing me for car settlement because the case was apparently finalised.I phone them twice if not thrice a week for progress, they keep telling me the case is with the finance department who has not yet released the payment date.I am frustrated because I am currently unemployed with 3 school going children, who need food and clothes, bills to pay and it seems like no one cares about that.My late husband worked for that money, it's not like I am asking GEPF to give me loan I want what is rightfully mine and my children's.
My husband bought a car( 2019 Amarok 3.0 TDI H-LINE + 4MOT A/T) in 2019 July. He sadly passed away in August 2021 after 2 years of paying the car,I then continued with the monthly instalments since then until now because I was told my late husband didn't have life insurance for the car.Last month (11 May 2022)they sent someone at my house who identified himself as Oelof Van Wyk (kredcorgroup) to tell me that the bank wants me to settle the car within 14 days, the settlement letter was emailed to me on the 12th May with an amount of R612 144.06, who waIks around with that kind of money? I explain to the guy that I am still waiting for my husband's pension payout only then will I be able to settle the car.I asked him if he was aware that I have been paying the monthly instalments and he told me he was aware but now I can't continue as the car was not registered under my name.He has been harassing me with calls and emails telling me to Surender the car because the bank cannot wait for the payment indefinitely, even when I try to be decent by updating them on the process of the pension payout, he doesn't seem to care about anything except me surrendering the car back to Wesbank. This is the worst treatment I expect from such a "Big" bank, very unprofessional and no sympathy whatsoever, pathetic service,This would make sense if the car was in arrears, I even pay more that the instalment amount.I suspect they already have a buyer for it at the auction that is why they are insisting that I must surrender it and that they will keep it for me for 3 months. I will never advice any of my friends, relatives even enemies to use that bank.I am even thinking of cancelling all my accounts I have with FNB.
Big ups to the hello Peter Team,Amazing service👍
The investment money was paid eventually after 24 hours as they said however I still think they can deliver a better service to their customers, no need for the run arrounds that I was exposed to especially after death of my husband,I just didn’t need that. I hope my kids will get a better service should I die. I’m still reluctant to do business with them.
My late husband passed away in August, had a funeral, education policy for our 14 year old son and investment with old mutual for many years. The funeral policy paid 4 days after the burial,The education policy paid out by mistake and the money was reversed, the investment hasn't been paid since August.I have 3 kids of the deceased that I jave to look after, there are outstanding debts that need to be paid, the deceased had a motorbike that he was still paying for.I have been sent from pillar to post by old mutual,I have sent all the documents required ,nothing is happening .I have even sent an email to their complains department which is also not helpful.I will not recommend old mutual even to my worst enemy.
