I visited J Swartzberg Radiologists for a Discovery Health Mammogram. Minky Maopola assisted me with my queries and said she could help me immediately because she has a client only half an hour later. She was very thorough. She is professional and friendly.The mammogram was inconclusive and she organised to do a sonar at the Gynae next door. She indicated that the radio;ogist will inspect all infor and she will send me a report. I received my report within 24 hours. She also gave great reference to a gynaecologist for my visit. I highly recommend this practice for mammograms.
Monday 24 November I went for my eye test based on a quotation done on 20 Novemeber at Woodridge Kempton Park. I did my eye photos and the audio test did not load. I indicated to the lady that I don't mind not soing the audio, on qhich she rwp**** if ahe does not do it, head office will rwprimand her. As usual, the optometrist, Herman Lotter, did a detailed test and followed up on my health issues. He gave proper explanations on thw change in my eyesight. When I was done, I was told to ait and wait. After a while I was called by the receptionist to give my quotation. I found this odd because I already received a quote and I had my necessary discussion with the optometrist regarding my needs. I compared the firat quote(4 days old) with the new one. Nothing had to be added. However, there was a discrepancy in the amount charged on polarising my sunglasses. I was confused and indicated that I am not accepting the new quote because they honour a quote of up to 10 days old. It is a pity because I have always reives excellent service feom this branch
I am due for my eye test and new glasses. At the start of October I went in to get an estimate for the whole package. I asked the reception lady what sunglasses would cost extra. She said if I am prepared to wat for the Summer deal I can save a lot of money. 1 week ago I went in to souble check if they had my choice of frames so I can make a booking. Nicole at Woodbridge assisted me. There werw no frames on shelves that suited me and ahe ordered frames from the online warehouse. I received her call Monday 10 Nov. 13 November I went to Woodbridge and after checking with her what the final quotation would be, it was not the estimation I received from the first lady who assisted me. Nicole was patient and adressed all my requirements for multifocals and aunglasses with multifocal lenses. She was friendly and has a good eye for frames suiting a client' s face.
Wednesday 5 November a takeaway was ordered based on an advirtisemny board on Dannroad. HOWEVER, this special was not valid anymore. MO dates on the board to indicate special ending! My wife was feeling sick and decided to place an order fro creamy chicken and a margerita. What a let down. The creamy chicken tasted like cardboard. I made a call to the branch and was told the board should have been removed. Up to Monday 10 Nov still there in Dannroad. The lady said the manager will call me Thursda 6 November. NO call receives up to Monday 10 November. Horrible service for a takeaway which has been created for convenience. But seems like when money has been taken ALL services get ignored.
Since the move from Olivewood, this branch is delivering qyality food and service again. Bradley is an awake manager and there are friendly waiters who get to know their customers. Just a small negative remark is that im some shifts you can pick up the bar staff is not on top of their game with drinks or glassea being warm.
Visited Dr DJ Kok(dentist). He took 4 x-rays and said one of my teeth is in need a new filling and he did cleaning of all my teeth. My medical aid sid not pay, this came out of pocket. The recwipt was not emaul to me and I had to send an email request for invoice. Two day later I broke the tooth that needed the new filling. I phoned the practice the following morning and was only give an appointment to see the dentist two days later. Again 4 x-rays were taken. My gum was then prepared with thw numbibg solution and injection. Before it was totally numb, the broken pice of tooth was pulled out. This gave me a fright. It was an out of pocket procedure again with - x-ray amounts added but with a discrepancy on the price charged on 4 exact. I made my payment and yet again had to email to remind Intercare to mail my invoice. I brought this under the attention of the practice manager, who then made copies of my invoices to follow up with Dr Kok. I received an email Friday 17 Oct to indicate that by end of business day my issue would be resolves. Yet again, I had to mail and request feedback. I received a new compuled invoice and a refund request form. The amount refunded was not identified as to which procedure / item was refunded. It was an amount not stated on my invoices. My communications: verbally and via email went theough Lucia Ngoepe ( Prac manager) and Keaziha Swanepoel. In my last email I requeates an explanation of what the amount to be refunded is for. Again. No answer yet on Friday 24 October
What a bunch of incompitant "consultants". 1. No phone etiquette 2. Very rude 3. Does not make 'Notes" after hone conversations. 4. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH ACKERMANS. 5.Repeat all of the above #1-4 if you contemplate an Ackermans account 6. If you have never been telephonically harassed... open an accoun and have fun Inside info idicates it s the WORST company to owe 1 cent to. 7. They call from multiple landlines!
Windscreen chipped on Sunday. I made a phonecall on Monday. Unfortunately the techniciacian Micahael Mayoss had a family emergency. He popped around to my house on Tuesday and fixed the chip spotlessly and he was extremely friendly . They do ANY type of vehicle glass..........
What a mission to get ANY person at Ackermans so assist in an account query. Then it does get resolved telephonically and an amount to be paid and a mutual date for patment. The next day you receive another Sms to indictate a different amount. No statements have been emailed to me . Mails have been sent to try and get communication going. NOTHING.
Visited Hussar Grill Harvest Place for date night special. This is the place to go for fine dining. We were treated by afriendly manager and waitress. We enjoyed the starters and especially the steaks. The house wine on this special is worth it's taste. Will visit them again to try something else on the menu.
