How do you cancel a contract with MTN. My Husband has been trying since last year????He has phoned and physically went into MTN stores and yet he is still being billed and money taken off his account?? PLEASE WHAT MUST WE DO TO CANCEL A BLUDDY CONTRACT WITH YOU???????
What ever you do, PLEASE DONT EVER GET YOUR CAR FINANCED BY MFC/NEDBANK!! They are a nightmare to deal with, very unhelpful and not interested in what you have to say. We financed a car with them, bought a car from Pinetown Cars, had endless issues with this car, eventually had to get it traded in to buy another ****py car from Pinetown Cars. Car was SUPPOSED TO BE TAKEN OFF OUR NAME, but it never was. Pinetown cars has now closed down, we stuck with a car that was supposed to be traded in, parts were stolen from it, whilst in Pinetown Cars possession. Now the car is unsellable. And they are not interested in assisting us with this mess.!!! A mess of not our own making!!!
I ask All who have been scammed by pinetown cars...and have had there lived turned upside down..please contact me on ataorl@hotmail.com...we need to stick together and do something. PLEASE CONTACT ME
Pinetown Cars = PLEASE DONT EVER BUY FROM PINETOWN CARS!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH - DONT BUY FROM THEM. My husband had the unfortunate experience of buying a Ford Ranger from them, after a few months, the engine packed up. Warranty did not cover the repairs. So we were forced to refinance and get another Ford Ranger from them. This Ford Ranger only lasted a few months, and surprise surprise, this engine also failed. Warranty covered some of the repairs and Pinetown Cars told us that all we would have to pay is the labour fees - which we were given a rough estimate of R 15000.00, which was agreed that we would pay this off. The engine replaced - but the car is still not fixed, it is still going into Limp mode and we have had endless issues with this car since this so called repairs, and also on top of that we were informed that no the repairs came to R 41 000, which we have to pay?? How did it jump from R 15 000 to R 41 000 and ontop of that they want there payment for the repairs, but they have not even produced an invoice for the repairs. And to crown it all - the previous Ford Ranger is still in my husbands name and we have requested, begged and pleaded with them to take that Ranger off my husbands name as we are no longer in possession of the car, But NO - ITS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR AND ITS STILL IN OUR NAME AND WE ARE STILL LIABLE FOR IT, and every month we have to remind them and beg them to take that car off our name....We are trying to run a business where we need a bakkie but we dont have a bakkie to use. All we wanted is a reliable car - and there we are - sitting with a bakkie who is parked at our home gathering dust, payment huge monthly installments and we cant even rely on it. All I can do now is warn as many people as I can. I did not want to go this route, but left with no choice!!!

NO INVOICE GIVEN BUT THEY WANT THERE MONEY. We are stuck with now 2 payments - 1 for a Ford Ranger sitting in there Garage - which they are helping themselves with parts to fix other Ford Rangers, and the 2nd Ford Ranger - sitting here at home, unable to drive it as it keeps going into limp mode. We are trying to run a business where we need a bakkie but we dont have a bakkie to use. We have lost alot of business, we cant even afford rent. Having to move in with Family as we dont have a reliable car. If there is anyone out there who can give us some advice it would be greatly appreciated. All I can do now is warn as many people as I can. I did not want to go this route, but left with no choice!!!
I have had an account with Truworths for many years and always paid my accounts on time. Last year I lost my job due to Covid, but continued paying my account. I also pay a Funeral Policy via Hollard via my Truworths Account. Last year I tried to cancel my account. I sent an email to Truworths Customer Service and a Gentleman by the name of Christopher emailed me back to confirm that I cant cancel my account until I have spoken to Hollard and deal with them directly for my Funeral Policy. Hollard itself has been a nightmare to deal with, but with Covid I don't want to cancel that Policy just yet. But after a few months, I finally was able to get Hollard to direct debit my account directly for my Funeral Policy. So I made my final payment to Truworths on the 4th May, and at the same time sent an email to Truworths stating that I would like to cancel my account as I am now directly dealing with Hollard. They never responded, I got my Truworths statement as normal, and I sent another email telling them about my earlier email that I had requested my account to be closed, and again no one bothered to respond. Hollard direct debited my account end May, so Hollard got there money, but now I have Truworths chasing me for that exact money. I have spoken to 4 different Consultants and all of them said they cant cancel my account as I have paid the balance due. Now I would not have this balance, if they bothered to read my email sent to them on the 4th May 2021. Now suddenly my account is doubled and I am getting this Text messages and phone calls about my outstanding balance. I don't see why I must pay this amount outstanding cause I sent them an email stating that I wanted my account to be closed effective immediately. But they insist I pay it and then I ask them, ok - IF i do pay it - where do i send them the proof of payment, cause they are not reading emails. They said that I must just send them proof of payment via the email address that I have been emailing to. (Now I ask you with tears in my eyes, how??? they did not read any of my previous emails????)What is the point of having an email address if they don't bother reading the emails sent. I am unemployed. I need the money in my cell phone to look for work etc but now I am spending money to phone them to sort out this issue - when all it took was for them to read my Email sent to them on the 4th May 2021. I finally went to a Truworths store yesterday, again spending precious petrol money, spoke to the Supervisor and he was very helpful but he put me on the phone to speak to a lady by the Name of Megan who told me that I need to phone the Insurance dept. but the number is always engaged. So here I am back to square one. What do I do from here. Hollard have there money, but Truworths want that same money as well. I find is all very unfair. I took the necessary steps and I still am left with owing money. I dont want a bad credit because Truworths dont read emails. If they bothered to respond I would not be in this boat. Please Truworths - will someone help me!!! I am at a complete loss of what more I can do.!
