This was my first time using Float, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. Absolutely disgusting service! On 20 May at 19:50, I placed an order via the Samsung app for R37,689.06 using Float. However, Samsung has no record of this transaction. I contacted Samsung support the following morning and was informed that the order could not be traced in their system. I was advised to contact Float, as the issue appears to lie on your side. What’s made this situation even more frustrating is the lack of response and accountability from Float. Float does not answer phone calls. Float has not responded to my emails. I now have written confirmation from Samsung that the order does not exist in their system — exactly what Float requested — yet there has still been no refund or update from your side, Float. It is clear there is a serious communication breakdown between Float and Samsung, which is why I’m addressing both parties in an email to get this resolved and Samsung responded but nothing from Float. I am now formally and urgently requesting a full refund of R37,689.06, as the transaction did not result in a successful or fulfilled order. I cannot be expected to pay for an item that I did not receive — and that Samsung confirms does not exist in their system. This is theft Float! Float reference number 30407– Please urgently process the refund and respond to the emails and get more call centre staff, how can a company never answer their phones.

Avis King Shaka, are absolutely useless. The queue is out the door, manager walking the floor and laughing. She doesn’t apologize for the wait. She finds it amusing that people are waiting. First and last time using them! Absolutely disgusting. They also installing computers and manager laughs and says wrong time but hey. No customer service anymore

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent service we received. We arranged for the delivery of an antique piece of furniture, which was unfortunately damaged during transit. To make matters worse, we never received an apology for this incident. The situation was exacerbated by attempts to shift the blame onto us, and the call center in Durban has been unresponsive, with calls going unanswered. This level of service is unacceptable and highly frustrating. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and a resolution to address both the damage and the poor service.
I wrote a negative review/ complaint on Hello Peter against Liberty on 31 August 2023 as i was not getting anywhere with Liberty to get my claim paid out. Since writing my complaint, i received assistance from one individual (Themba Gumede who is a Liberty Complaints Resolution Specialist) who went above and beyond to ensure that our policy claim was paid out. He apologised for the delay and explained that this is not how Liberty worked, he provided his direct work email and direct work number to fast track any further queries or complaints that we had. I just want to show appreciation for his support during this difficult time for our family and let him know that we really appreciate everything he did to resolve our claim. His kindness and hard work didn't go unrecognised. He restored my faith in Liberty Life!
No Service received from Liberty. I have submitted all of the required claim documents on 7th July 2023 and 2nd August 20223 and each time i call and follow up, i get told that they have not received my documents or i get told they take 20 working days to review documents. I have two reverence numbers that have apparently been escalated but to no avail. My father paid his premiums monthly but when it comes to claim payouts, Liberty is non existent.
I dropped off a car for repairs a week ago and no one will or can provide me with an update. I call constantly and email and get no response. When you do call, you just get handed over to every employee who will 'transfer' you but never does. Worst, disgusting customer service ever! Insurance companies should NOT be using them.
