I had a great experience on Cem Air. The flight was delayed a few minutes because of dog cages that had to be organized, but other than that the service was very good, and we got complimentary snacks and drinks, which is uncommon these days on flight from Jhb to Cape town. Will certainly make use of them again.
All the staff was really fiendly and helpfull. Kamogelo Madalane was very patient while I got all my documentation ready.
I took out insurance for our holiday. Our flight was delayed with 1 days and our connecting flight with another day, so we missed 2 days hotel stay at our destination. Apparently TIC does not pay out if the accommodation was booked and paid for before arrival. I'm not sure how many people can go on holiday or get a visa if the accommodation was not booked and paid for??
We missed our flight and had to wait 24 hours for a new flight, which was ok, but we missed our connecting flight with 2 days. We lost 2 days accommodation at our destination. I have written many complaints, but not any reply from their side, even thought we have case numbers. On the mail it said they will contact you withing 48 hours. But since the 1st of January no one has contacted us.
There is a debit order on my bank account from Vodacom, I have no idea what it is for, seeing that I do not have an account with them? You can't get through on there telephone lines, I have been waiting for 20 minutes with no response.
