I wouldn't waste my time with these guys again ... I spoke to a salesman on whatsapp regarding a Hummer . I called their office to makle sure the Car is still available , only to be told they have no Hummers in stock . I put the phone down , called again , spoke to someone else .... mmmm they do have 2 Hummers . I drive through to them from Springs , an Hour and 30 Minutes , get there , no Hummer . Oh sorry our mistake , its now at a different Branch . I go there , have a look , Car is great , salesman is at Another Branch sir .... They value my Porsche with service History , and offer me a Third of Trade .... The Hummer is being sold for R 100,000 over Retail !!!!! 4 Salesman , all White , sitting behind their desks , 1 Client in the Office , these guys do not even look up . I walk out , a Black sales guy asks if he can help , I tell him who I am looking for , we walk back into the office , he asks the guys where JJ is , Pierre says , waving his hands ...... DONT know , still not bothering to even acknowledge me . Well done Guys !
I bought a Hummer V8 , that was just traded in , and I test drove it still dirty . It was cleaned up for me and I took delivery a few days later , and was told it had a puncture . They would take it to HI - Q next door , or I could . I did and the fitter called me over , and told me the Shocks do not look the best . I called the saleslady and she sent someone to come and have a look . They authorized 4 New Shocks immediately , Hi - Q to replace . I left and around 20 Ks later the Engine light came on but the Car has fine . I called Michelle and she said I must bring it back they would sort it out . I dropped it off a few days later and they gave me a loan car . I get a call from Marcell , the Hummer is ready , can they deliver or will I collect . I collect and leave . Around 30 ks later , Engine light back on and a little whistling noise appeared at around the same time . I am not happy and call Marcell , turn around and take the Hummer back . Marcell assures me they would get it sorted properly and gives me a CX 5 to use . These guys end up replacing Spark Plugs , HT Leads as well as a New Waterpump !!! NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH , AND MARCELL TURNED A potentially bad situation into a positive one . I buy a lot of Cars , and have only ever received service like this from a Porsche Dealership . Marcell , thank you very much . I recommend buying a Car here any day and everyday !!!! Johnny Carreira .
I took accepted the more Expensive Quotation , as I have used Crown before ...... OMG what a mistake this time around . My move was from Perth Australia to South Africa , Johannesburg . The first part from Perth , was not too bad , the office staff was okay , the packers fine . That's about then that my problems started . The container left late , and was off loaded on route , where it remained for around 2 or 3 weeks . The arrival date kept changing . I was then told my Container has been earmarked for a customs Inspection , and the Price would be between R5000.00 and R 15000.00 Max . They Crown would do their best to keep costs down . Customs took 2 days , but my Container remained there for 6 days . After my sending so many Mails and actually going to Crown,s offices in Johannesburg , they gave me a additional Account for OVER R 22 000.00 . !!!!!!!!!!!! When I asked how this is possible , they basically told me it is what it is , and that has to be paid . I contacted my Attorney , who told me they ( Crown ) can and do get away with this , as If I want to challenge the amount / or the over charges , they would not release my Container and would still charge me R 965.00 per day , as well as another R 680.00 per day !!!!! I understand that Customs can check a Container , and I would be charged , but according to Crown , because of the search , I then have to pay AGAIN , for all the days , from the date the container leaves Durban , until it is delivered to me !!! How they are allowed to get away with this kind of Tactics is CRIMINAL . On the South African side I have been dealing with a Lady by the name of Stacey , and her Manageress , who would not even answer my calls . ( I forget her name ) . Eventually the container arrives , after me having to pay the Blackmail/Ransom amount of money . As the staff unpack , they find all kinds of broken items , which was marked on their delivery sheet , and supposedly reported back to their office . I got hold of Stacy , and she sent me the claim forms . This was delivered on the 2 nd of December 2020 . The claim forms and all the relevant photo's was sent through on 7 th December 2020 . Today , 30/12/2020 and I have still not heard a single word , via Phone or E-mail , to let me know what is actually happening . Crown , you people are the WORST !!!
I bought a Chrysler 300 C from Chrysler Fourways . The car was still ( and still is ) under maintenance plan , and I extended it to 5 years . I service the car there , but spares is always a problem ,(waiting 3 weeks for brake pads).<br> I have had a problem with the headlights since I took delivery , as they will not adjust , the brights shine up into the trees , and both Fourways as well as Chrysler South Africa are just not interested at all . Keep saying it is not covered under extended motorplan , but yet it was under standard motorplan when I bought the car ! The arrogant and disgusting attitude that I get from Chrysler South Africa is unbelievable . I OWN 3 CHRYSLER,S .<br> What is the point of spending millions on advertising and so called customer service ,, IF THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL !!! I asked for a area customer supervisor to call me , this just never even happened , as it appears that once you bought their cars , YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN . This just does not make business sense , as I for one , will be looking at other brands for sure !!!!!!
