I have been waiting for my Rates and Taxes Refund ever since I have sold my house at Stretford Ext 1 in 2019. I went to the Municipality, the staff was so rude and even called me names just for not being able to speak their language since I am Zulu and they speak Sotho or SeTswana, I'm not sure. They promised to pay in 3 months time since August 2024 when I did my 1st application as they couldn't refund without my physical presence at their offices. I waited until 2025 January or so. I had already given them my banking details, and accepted that, only to find that they will subsequently ask for the attorneys banking details and have them changed in my presence at their offices. I gave them the attorneys banking details, they promised another 3 months to pay. The lady by the name of Lerato gave me her personal numbers, when I asked for the office number she said they don't use or have office phones which was shocking. She subsequently blocked me and never answered my calls.
I would like to write a review about Rain Internet Service Provider. I had ordered the home network while I was using the single sim package. The consultant was so good and explained the rain services so well in that my query got sorted swiftly and with additional helpful information being provided. I'm happy about the way Rain consultants conducted themselves and the response they gave. Much respect, I will forever recommend rain to anyone who has had it bad with different service providers. π₯°ππΎπ€πΎ
Good day, I am disgruntled by the service we receive from the Emfuleni Municipality Rates and Taxes offices. I went to their offices in August 2024 to request a refund after I have sold my house located in PalmSprings. The lady by the name of Lerato gave me attitude, telling me that they will only process the refund after a period of close to 3 months and I was fine with it even though I highlighted to her that i am permanently leaving for KZN. She asked that I leave my ID and the banking details, of which I did. Time went by and no refund to my account. I had to take leave and go back to their offices at the end of February 2025. She gave me the very same attitude telling me that I shouldn't be asking for assistance in English, bear in mind she is Sotho and I am Zulu. Neither one of us understand the language we both speaking. I tried Sotho, then she shouted at me telling me why did I start in English and I explained that I thought it was the best way I can express my enquiry. She said I should ask the attorneys to get into the Rates and Taxes website and complete the forms there and remove my banking details and put theirs. They did that and sent her proof, but when I call her after that, she is shouting and telling me I should STOP calling her, since she's working in the streets in a Municipality Project which she did not disclose but was going back in the office in the past week (3rd week of March) and I waited. I tried calling her today, she's reprimanding me for calling her constantly and I only called her today since our last communication. I am now stuck with no help from anyone, because they clearly stated that they do not use land-lines, hence she gave me her cellphone. I am now worried whether the funds were withdrawn without me knowing about it or not, since I am no longer receiving the statements. PLEASE HELP!
I previously owned a vehicle which was not insured. It got into accidents and was fixing it from my own pocket. So i decided to trade it in for a new polo with which i took insurance with Outsurance, not knowing that i am still outsured, as their name says it all. so it got involved in accident just after the first month of driving it (from Brand New).<br> <br> I launched a claim, they validated the incident and the case opened. so they looked out for loop holes, not to pay my car back. They claim, i should have disclosed my previous car's accidents before getting into contract with them. My question was: isn't that we get questioned over the phone and answer yes/no when they sell insurance to us? So they said the onus lies with me to have come forth and revealed any information that would have impacted the insurers decision in determining premium.<br> <br> I carried on with my questions, asking if its not possible for them to take such information into account, then determine what the premium would be, should they have been furnished with my previous car's accident history. So they would pay the pro rata amount of the risk covered by the insurance premium i was paying. They REFUSED!!!
