DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst service ever! I purchased a dining room table and book shelf from Yolanda Heyns. She has been giving me the run around and keeps changing her story and delivery date. I managed to track down the manufacture this morning, only to find out that they haven’t been paid and have not dispatched my goods! This is after her apology and promising me that I would receive them both this Friday. That is clearly not going to happen. Be very careful of this business.
I placed an online order on the 11th of January for a bookshelf and dining table and paid upfront. Since placing the order I have been given the run around and been told one lie after the other from Yolanda Heyns the owner of the online business. I eventually tracked down the actual manufacturer of my book shelf only to find out that today the 6th of February she has not been paid by Yolanda. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!
We ordered a couch in the middle of last year which cost just over R65 K. When the couch arrived, it was really badly made, so we complained. Took them about 2 months to come back to us with a solution, which was to replace the couch with a new one. The second one eventually arrived months later and was even worse!!! Took them from beginning of December to the beginning of this year to eventually respond that they would refund us in full. They collected the couch with the promise that the money would be refunded on the day they collected, that was this past Friday. I requested that the accounts department email me proof of payment and nothing. Sent another email on the weekend and i was promised by the Cape Town branch manager that she would request it. Today, i had to send a third email because money not in our account and no proof of payment. Bakos brothers used to have an outstanding reputation and their furniture was of such a high standard. I am really disappointed at the extremely bad manufacturing and even worse their lack of customer service. Very sad indeed.
My furniture and personal goods were stored for a year.<br> My R40 k Gavin's Collins painting was not crated correctly and came back torn.<br> I had cockroaches the size of my big toe in my goods.<br> My furniture was scratched and so dirty.<br> My Persian carpets so full of dust that 2 months later and I'm still getting dust and sand out because they were not covered or protected in any way.<br> <br> The best thing of all....it's a month down the line when I emailed the manager with my complaints and he feels it's better to rather not respond and ignore my complaint and not bother to reposed to my emails. Very unprofessional. <br>
