I have to say that WiFibre might easily be the worst service provider in the country. I am not talking about ISP but service provider in general. Last month, they decided to double debit my account. I pick it up and flag it with them and I have been running for almost a month from pillar to post as there is no one who can give me an answer as to why and when I would get refunded. When I finally get a response, apparently my account which they run a debit order on is in arrears. I have now concluded that they fraudulently double debited my account to make up for their mistake. Coincidentally, their agreement with Vumatel also ended last month and they no longer have me as a client and I would suggest that everyone avoids being their client at all costs.
Last November, I got my eyes tested and I was prescribed a pair of glasses by the Dr. I got the glasses and paid the amount that the medical aid did not cover - which was an additional on the frames I had selected.

I later(this January) got an invoice from the optometrist for the amount that the medical aid was supposed to cover. I later learned that the claim was submitted incorrectly by the Medical Aid capturer and the claim was declined. The optometrists and myself have raised this with the Medical Aid and they say that they can't help us because the funds we refer to are from last year and have thus fallen away.

The optometrists need to be paid and it seems Spectramed in my time of need reckons I should just go sort myself out.

Thanks
I have followed up on my insurance claim all the way from May since my first posting on hellopeter and today, on the 28th of July 2015 I am still without a handset.

I have been told to come back on a daily basis after I have followed up myself, no proactive actions from the Vodacom consultants.

The handset is never available but I can't take an alternative.

Yours in the most frustration
Hi,

I took out a contract with Vodacom, last November. On the day I told the consultant to take out insurance on the handset using my prepaid sim card as I had no interest in the data and minutes that came with the contract sim card. A few months later when upon submitting a claim for my lost phone, I find out that the consultant had taken out insurance using the contract sim card.

I called him to confirm if this was infact true, he confirmed that he had made an error. I then elevated this to the consultants manager, who took the claim on herself only to not receive any feedback on the progress of the claim. All this time, Vodacom and the insurance are getting the monthly payments from myself yet I am without a handset or feedback on the claim.

I have since tried to get hold of the store managers boss, who seems to have been a bogus name/person as when I called the Century City store (where he is supposedly based) nobody knew who he is.

I just need the number for the store managers boss's boss so that I can keep elevating this.

Yours in frustration,
