Mr Phillip Marks re-coloured and restored my 3-2-1 leather set in April 2023. Originally it was the wrong colour and he had to redo it - he first tried and hoped I would take the set as is at a discounted price - NO thank you - do what you were asked to do and PAID for! When I went to look at the set at his premises I asked him why the colour looks if it is 'on top' and will come off/peel eventually - he said I would not have been in business for 12/15 years if this was the case. Not even 2 months after delivery the colour starts peeling. We've been on whatsapp discussions (photos included) since Aug 2023 and he stopped communicating and blocked me since July 2024 as he is also not answering any phone calls on both mobile and office. Initially, he was very responsive and promised many times to sort out this mess. He is also not responding to emails. I do not throw R20k in the water due to someone else's inability to do proper workmanship. He will meet with me again via an adequate channel which he can't ignore and will cost him much more! STAY AWAY from him and his business - he promises you the moon, the stars and everything in between without any deliveries. He also did not respond to my Google review.
On the 15th of January 2020 I wrote a review about the same Company...VODACOM! They were very quick to respond within 45 minutes and promised that someone will contact me. Did they contact me as promised??? A week later and the answer is NOOOOOO I am still waiting for the promised phone call. Can't I give them 0 out of 5? Why do we have to be happy with this type of service?? PATHETIC to say the least!
I phone customer care on 18 Dec 2019 and logged a query. They promissed me feedback within 2-3 working days. After 2 workings days I contacted them again and the lady assured me I will receive feedback within 5-8 workings days?? After 12 working days I contacted them and my case was closed WITHOUT notifying me! Again I requested someone from the upgrades Department to contact me and explain what is going on! It is already 8 working days later again with NO phone call or feedback. Should I again crawl back to them????? My first enquiry was about a data upgrade in July 2019 which the sales person PROMISED me and remember the phone call is recorded...we can still upgrade our phones in Jan 2020....lying lying lying...we tried to upgrade and Vodacom says only in April 2021!! PATHETIC!!! I am still waiting for my query of 18 Dec to be resolved!!!! Vodacom is going one way and that is DOWN!!!
I've ordered a product from them online, part of the order is that if you do not decline further orders, they will automatically deduct the next payment from you R1347-45 and send you the second order. I have declined in time, but the money was deducted from my credit card already! I phoned them and they said they will only refund me once I've received the order - I will and haven't received any order from them - not the first nor the second! This is the biggest scam I've ever heard of! They don't respond to emails at all although I've sent them the proof for everything!
1. VODACOM phoned ME and I NEVER requested any change or add on to my current data contract<br> 2. It was a telephonic conversation which I NEVER asked for anything - VODACOM phoned me!!<br> 3. The sales consultant promised me that my current contract will be cancelled (that was what I understood!!!) and a new sim card delivered to me for the new 1 GB contract for my ipad.<br> 4. I kept on using my 2GB card because it was still working and I was waiting for Vodacom to cancel it!<br> 5. Why do they think for one second if I understood fully what she believes she told me that I would keep on using the same sim card and want to pay for 2 contracts - REALLY??<br> <br> I NEVER contacted Vodacom to make any changes or add any contract to my current contracts. Afrikaans is my home language - so they should stop telling me I agreed to the contract - yes I agreed to it should the other be cancelled - she contacted me because Vodacom claim they could see that I don't use all my data every month and suggest a cheaper contract - what does that tell you?? That tells me the one will be replaced by the other. They will squeeze there customers for every cent.<br> <br> It is already 6 weeks!
