Chery Northcliff over charges for work that is not even necessary. I was having trouble with my car starting intermittently. They did not even look at my car, they just said it's definitely the battery - wanted to charge R4000 for a battery. I rather took my car to battery centre, where they tested the battery and it was 100% fine. Bosch service centre then said they would look at my key as this could be the problem - turned out there was an issue with the key which Bosch service centre fixed. At the same time, Chery wanted to charge R800 to fix my break lights. Bosch service centre fixed them at no cost at all, all I had to do was provide the globes. Highly disappointed in Chery!!

My family and I went to spur in Northgate for dinner last night. My daughter had chicken strips, I had a rump steak and my husband had a burger. We all ordered a side of vegetables to accompany our meals - the vegetables is the only thing that we all had in common. By 2:30 am this morning we were all up with serious stomach cramps and an upset stomach - there was definitely something off with the vegetables. To make matters worse I am 32 weeks pregnant so the last thing I needed was food poisoning.

I bought smoked chicken from Spar Bellairs. The outside packing was dated 19 June - 26 June. When i removed the outer packaging, the smoked chicken was still in its orginal sealed packaging from the orginal supplier, and the back of this packaging had an expiry day of 15 May. When I opened the chicken it was clear from the smell that it had expired on 15 May, and I opened this on 22 June (which according to spars packaging should have been fine). It is obvious that spar had originally not sold it within the expiry so they repackaged and dated it! Extremely annoyed, this is totally unacceptable!

I did take it back to the spar and was given double money back, but it does not change the fact as to what is going on behind closed doors in the butchery section.
