We had a horrible experience at Doppio Zero Rosebank (The Firs) Sunday 09 November. We arrived after 4pm and ordered a chocolate milkshake and a G&T with pink tonic. My fiance received his milkshake and after having a huge sip told me something is wrong with the milkshake and he tasted what he described as chemicals, I hesitated but took a sip and as strong as ever tasted what I can describe as thick bleach, I stood up and spat the substance in the garden and took it to the area inside where they prepare drinks. The waitress asked me what was going on and I told her there are chemicals like bleach or domestos in the drink. She called the Manager who refuted my claims and I asked him to get a clean straw and taste the milkshake, he did and was shocked at the strong bleach taste, the waitress tasted it and ran to the back to spit it out, the guy who makes the milkshakes also tasted it and complained of the taste. The fact that nobody could explain to us how this happened is beyond me. We were apologized to and offered a new milkshake which is absolutely ridiculous after my fiance has ingested chemicals which are poisonous. We immediately left the restaurant however are disgruntled and want this matter investigated as my fiance consumed poisonous chemicals and this is deeply concerning.
My incident was reported on the 31st of July and I was then assigned with an assessor who contacted me and arranged a face to face on 6/08 We went through the incident and the items which were taken off me during the *******. She advised me on the beacons and billings and google timeline to track my location on the date, I was having issues with my phone so she offered to send me the steps to get this done. On the 8/08 she sent through the steps along with a Cell C affidavit which needed to be signed and stamped at the police station. I completed and sent the documents within two hours along with an affidavit for my I.D document as I no longer had one due to the incident and along with my jewellery evaluations this was sent through. She responded on 12/08 advising me I had completed the information incorrectly when she did not read through my email and view the attached documents to verify the correct information was sent. I emailed and without receiving a response called her, she advised me of a turnover time of +- 30days. On 13/08 I requested an update on whether she had sent through the application to start the beacons and billings process, and with no reply I escalated for Manager feedback. Poobalin from Outsurance called me and advised he was standing in for Nokwanda's Manager who was on leave, I advised him of the incident and that my handbag and purse were taken therefore I did not have an I.D documents as this was now requested for the beacons and billings application. I went on and offered him my bank statement to see my transactions, he said no, it is not required, we need to do beacons and billings to track. He asked me which bank cards and other cards I had on me that day to which I responded my tyme bank, capitec and store credits as many as I could remember at that time. On Wednesday 14/08 Nokwanda advised me that they will no longer be doing beacons and billings after informing me that this was a requirement to validate the claim, which made me unable to trust what is required by the insurer as she has been advising me. I was then requested by her to send a picture of my remaining ring which is on my evaluation again told this was to help validate the claim and I comp**** and sent her the picture on 15/08. I later received a call where she informed me I previously had a claim for a ring which she claimed is identical as the ring on my claim which I disputed, I would like to know how she came to the conclusion that these rings are the same? She further requested for I.D/Death certificate of my late fiance as he gifted me my jewellery, so she required this information as it would validate the claim as proof of purchaser, I expressed to her how unreasonable her requests are becoming but in order to validate the claim once again I comp**** to send through the information. She requested I send through my Tyme bank and Capitec bank statements to which I informed her my Capitec card was used at the restaurant to purchase and put into my pocket not my handbag, therefore it was not ****** so why would I need to now submit it? She insisted on the bank statements again to validate the claim so I queried via email if she wants the cards that were ****** and in my purse? therefore I sent her my Tyme bank startement again telling her that Capitec card was not involved in the theft. On 19/08 she emailed me stating on the 6/08 I informed her that my cards were ******, to which I do not recall telling her "My capitec bank card was ******" She requested to see the transaction on the 31st at the Restaurant and no further transactions until the 15/08 which is not possible as I have used my card in this time period. Going forward I do not wish to deal with Nokwanda Sibeko for the following reasons: - She has not been transparent - She asks questions vaguely to manipulate my answers to her liking - She has been ********* in the way she does things On first meeting I did advise her that I am on medication to help me with the anxiety that I have been suffering and she has taken advantage of the trauma I have been through with my ordeal with her method of doing things. As she states in her email dated 19/08 that on 6/08 I told her that my Capitec bank card was ****** during the ******* as one of her facts, I would like to hear her proof of where I told her that.

Absolutely impressed by the service received at Cresta Ocean Basket,<br> Our waiter Joe Mashaba was extremely friendly and the food was amazing, the restaurant was full however he made sure he tended to all his tables, we never needed to look around for him and he made sure he gave us attention throughout the evening.. Overall the staff at ocean basket cresta were all friendly and work as a great team!!
In 2011 I signed a membership for a new Virgin Active branch that had not yet opened, I was informed that the membership would only be activated the day I go to gym for the first time (which I never did as I relocated to a new city) I had to pay a joining fee of R50.<br> <br> Now fast forward to 2015 and im been harrassed by MBD inc, to pay my account?? what account??<br> AN ACCOUNT FOR R2000? <br> <br> How is this possible? this membership was never activated??<br> <br> Truly frustrated about been \scammed"into joining the gym when the service was never used."""
