There shouldn't be any rating available for this company called Doll Me Up Fashion. I placed an order from Doll Me Up Fashion on 19 April 2021. Once we hit the 17 business day mark I queried where my order was and they were full of excuses, blaming customs. Every week that I follow up they are full of excuses. On Monday they claimed that they received the stock, but I have not received a delivery sms yet, so I guess that was a lie as well. BUT THE WORST PART is that they do not have 1 of the items I ordered in stock, so I was asked if I want a voucher or a refund and I opted for the refund, this was before end of April. They told me that refunds are processes at the end of the month. The end April has come and gone with no refund. Every time I ask where my refund is, they say they will look into it. Well I guess they are still looking for it almost 2 months down the line. PLUS, I see that the item that they are "selling" that they do not have in stock, is still being advertised on their site. I wonder how may people they have scammed out of R259 for this particular item?
I had the worst customer experience at the Street Fever store at N1 City Mall, Goodwood, Cape Town, today. I bought shoes over the weekend, but it turned out to be a bit tight. I went back to the store today just before 5pm hoping to exchange it for a bigger size, but they did not have any so I asked for a refund. The cashier calls the manager, who did not introduce himself, and he informs me that they are unable to give me a refund, because they haven't made any sales for the day and therfor have no money. He goes on to tell me that I must go to the Canal Walk store as they are bigger and have more money.
I booked a clean for 14 November for myself. I recommended SweepSouth to my daughter and then she booked a clean for 7 November which was a disaster. The cleaner decided that she would rather spend time rearranging our cupboards, which we did not request, that what we actually hired her for, to clean. We reported this and SweepSouth decided that a R100 reimbur*****t should make up for the disappointment. Even though we were disappointed with the this time around, I decided to keep my appointment for the 17th cause surely this was an isolated insident. Well it was not. As I walked into my house I could see that the living room was not cleaned. She did attempt to wash the floor it seems with dirty water as there were stripes all over the floor. The windowsills were not dusted, she did not use the vacuum cleaner that I provided as the dirt and hair***** were left all over. I contacted SweepSouth about this and the response that I received was shocking. We do not do any deep cleaning after I sent them the photos of a dirty floor and the dirt and dust by the sliding door. I will not recommended them to anyone ever again. I am not interested in a refund, I just want what I hired them to do and that seems to be too much to ask. As this was the 2nd complaint within 2 weeks, I would have liked someone to come and have a look for themselves, but nope they won't as they already have the money in the bank which they did not earn.
On 26 July 2018 I ordered an item from the site Cool Stuff 2go4. On 4 August I emailed them asking for my tracking number as I did not receive it yet. On 10 August I received the tracking number. On 24 August I emailed them again asking them why the last update on this item was made on 20 August, I did not receive a response to this email at all. On 28 September I emailed PayFast to ask what can be done, and their response was that for this merchandiser the shipping time is 30-60 days. The next excuse was they make use of international suppliers. I emailed them again on 15 October. Eventually I got a response from a Jessica, just informing me of the terms and conditions and yet again supplying me with my tracking number and yet the last tracking update was 20 August. I contacted my local Post Office as advised in her email as well and they can't pick up the parcel at all. Once this company have your money in the back, they just don't care and just give useless information.
Since June 2016 I have been receiving sms's from Ackermans directed at a person called Vuyolwetu. Nymerous times I emailed them and numerous times they responded saying that my information is removed from their database. Yet, I am still receiving these irritating promotions! I am not even an Ackermans card holder! This borders on harassment!
We are having the same issue. After my husband had to follow up numerous times, we eventually received the quote. I have no problem with the amount that needs to be paid to fix the door, but saying that we must pay the amount in full before a fixed booking is scheduled is ridiculous. I must now pay the full amount and hope that my gate is fixed soon, because if their service is as poor as just getting the quote to us, I will be lucky to have the gate fixed by the end of this year.
