I was wrongfully billed for discovery vitality, after going back and forward with discovery they finally admitted they were not supposed to debit me, a month later and still no refund. They are conveniently having issues when trying to do the refund. 3 months in with discovery medical aid and endless issues, I haven't even used one cent from this medical aid but they are already over charging me.
Was offered a 3 month "free trial" of vitality when signing up for my medical aid I cancelled more than a month before the trial ended and they started billing me after my cancellation, was contacted by by discovery after I complained and was assured the matter would be resolved and unsurprisingly nothing was done about it. Discovery health administration team is extremely weak, if you expect any sort of assistance when trying to get anything resolved just forget about it. Don't waste your time with this company they just want to ***** money from their clients.
Had discovery medical aid for 3 months, didn't use it a single time, now hit with a 20% increase even after receiving communications that my premium won't go up this year. I always heard good things about discovery medical aid but really can't see anything good about it, absolutely useless medical aid.
I am a new customer to discovery, the person who did my application got alot of my details wrong, now when I try to update it I just get errors on the app and website. I have sent emails but no response to that either. Not impressed with service thus far. I even emailed the person who did my application Tumelo.
I sent my vehicle in for a service and coolant flush. When I inspected the vehicle after a short drive the coolant bottle was almost empty and there was no visible coolant in the radiator. My vehicle went there in perfect working order. When I tried to tall call (after 8 am) I was informed it's too early for anyone to assist me or the staff are very busy. The worst offence is that the technician left their ***** driver in the engine bay which could easily cause damage to something else.
I put a claim through for a geyser fault (which was replaced by Absa 10 months ago). The plumber they assigned to this claim was so unprofessional, they couldn't even schedule an appointment properly. When I do contact Absa to find out what's happening with my claim Absa cannot give me any information because they cannot contact the plumber.
Very poor service from Capitec. Did a vehicle licence renewal on 8th of June and 9 days later haven't received anything. I have spoken to Thea Mentu and Shaunelle Truter who gave a generic answer that it takes 3-5 working days yet it's been 6 working days already. It's the first time I have used capitec for this service and it will definitely be the last. The customer service from capitec has really gone down the drain.
Did a windscreen claim this week and everything went well, did the claim on Monday afternoon, windscreen was fitted on Thursday morning.Jennika Naicker from naked kept me updated every step of the way. Everything was done via the app and was quick and effortless.
3 weeks ago a wreckless spar employee indrin Kathan driving a spar company vehicle rammed into the back of my vehicle. Spar has done nothing about this to date. I keep getting referred to different people but I am still sitting with a damaged car.
From the get go dealing with absa insurance has not been good. Their customer service is non existent. I signed up for absa insurance when taking out my home loan, assured multiple times that someone will contact me and forward me policy documents. Took a month to get that sorted. Had to put through a claim for a geyser and this is also seeming like a hopeless process. When I called to follow up on the claim I was told it was rejected because I had not paid my premium (which I paid 12 montha up front) then I was told there was a system error, then the system was slow, then the lines were busy, then the system has locked them out. It's just excuse after excuse and still have no idea what is going on with my claim. It's as if Absa looks for the most *********** people and employs them. Stay far away from Absa insurance, when you need to claim you will receive no assistance from them.
