I have had to do 2 claims since moving over to Naked, and it was an absolute breeze dealing with them. They are quick and efficient.
Debt Alert t/a Debtlife said they could assist me with Cash Sequestration and that I will save so much money and be rehabilitated at the end to have a clear record. I have paid them for more then 2 years and ow that I tried getting hold of anyone at the company, three's no answer. Phone just rings, mails unanswered, messages ignored. I have paid them more than R100k and now they have disappeared??
The worst place you can take your animal. Admitted my scotty on Saturday 24 Sept 2022, and after about 2hrs wait they came back with a piece of paper that said we need to pay R10 000, no explanation whatsoever. After querying what we will be paying for they told us her lungs collapsed and they need to put her in a oxygen box, while they check her for the weekend to see what needs to be done. Ons Mo day 26 Sept we get a call saying she's okay but they need to put a tube in the chest again and put her back in an oxygen box (but she's okay) and then we need to pay an additional R5000. Because they need to check what causes the collapsed lungs (after telling us they would have done it over the weekend). So I'm needing to pay R15000 and they still a not tell me if my dog will make it or not. On top of all this, the students treated my dad like a know-it-all when he asked them to explain the situation to him and when he asked questions, even though he has a degree in animal physiology and parasitology, and is also a doctor by trade. It feels like this institute is just taking money and using my dog as a Guinea *** to teach students, and speak down to people who actually care about their pets. Never will I ever take an animal there again.
So I checked online to see what loan I could apply for. To my surprise a consultant phoned me, and asked me if I am still interested, and being impressed I said yes I am, however the interested rate was quite high... and as I was asking what the interest rate was and if there were different options the lady put the phone down in my ear mid sentence!!! RUDEST customer system I have experienced in a long time!!!
I bought a GTV250, in March 2015, completely refurbished, like new, & come with a 1 year warranty. When the Vespa was received I did not receive instructions other than it should be serviced every 5000km. I also did not receive the toolkit. The glass on the front light melted, which Vespa said was my fault and refused to replace it. After 1000km it was sent in twice as I was left standing in the middle of the highway with no power, to find out that the fuel pump was faulty (something that should have been checked when refurbishing the Vespa). Just before the 5000km (after having had a full check less than 4000km prior) I was left standing next to the highway yet again. We checked the oil as we waited for road side assist, there was some oil in. The Vespa workshop told me the engine seized due to no oil. Then 2 weeks later we now receive a quote for roughly R26000, which we are expected to pay, because we were apparently negligent. The technician said we were supposed to check oil every week, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT IF WE WERE NEVER INFORMED OF THIS?WHERE DOES ALL THE OIL GO IN 4000KM, WITH NO OIL LIGHT EVER SHOWING? Vespa blatantly refusing to take responsibility.
