Please be very careful with this dealer. Took a R10 000 deposit to be placed on a waiting list for the Thar and are now refusing to refund me
Mahindra Helderberg asked for a R10 000 deposit to be put on a waiting list for a new model that was going to be released. After almost 11 months of nothing happening we decided to buy another car. The Mahindra Helderberg refuses to refund our deposit.
I received a notification sms on 2015/07/15 that R4405.86 was deducted from my credit card from Dollar Thrifty. I phoned Dollar Thrifty Lanseria and asked what is going on. No one called back until we phoned again on 2015/07/16 and spoke to the manager. After many phone calls to her she then phoned head office and discovered that someone did a faulty refund a few days earlier and decided to rectify it by deducting the money again on 2015/07/15. No apologies and no subsequent response to my emails asking for scans of all the slips of the transactions they did on my card.<br> <br> If they want to rectify a mistake by deducting money because of a faulty refund they need to phone and inform the customer what they are doing and to expect a notification sms from your bank. The faulty refund had not reflected in my account yet by the time they rectified the mistake by doing a purchase.<br> <br> Storing customer card details comes with responsibility.<br> <br> <br>
