We bought a Korando brand new, on 35 000km the gearbox packed up and SangYong South Africa replaced it under warranty with a "off the market" gearbox, a import that nobody can work on. The "new "gearbox gave problems from the start and we were told by SangYong Menlyn that its the oil which was replaced at every service. Now the gearbox packed up and nobody not even SangYong can repair the imported gearbox...and SangYong South Africa's reply is to s**** the car ?. If we knew SangYong was such a terrible brand we would never have bought the car. Terrable
My 68 year old father bought a brand new Sangyong Korando in November 2012 with a extended warranty. From the start the auto gearbox was giving them issues and Sanyong decided to replace the gearbox. One month after the car was paid off in 2016 the gearbox failed again and Sanyong told them that they are not responsible because the car has just gone out of warranty ? and that their extended warranty ran in conjunction with their normal warranty ? so the extended warranty was only in place while the factory warranty were in place ?. They took it to a gearbox repair shop and now they are told that there is only 5 2012 KORANDO's in S.A. with that type of gearbox and that no one knows how to repair it..? it has cost them thousands and the gearbox is still not working....now I had enough !. I am about to go legal and will not stop until Sanyong has paid for this terrible service. We are going on every social media platform available to us because that is not right !!! My father is 68 years old. His only mistake was to buy a peace of **** car from a terrible manufacturer. Shame on you. How can a extended warranty run with a factory warranty ?.
Hi, my name is Morne Myer and Elaine Stofberg of Nedbank is harassing my 67 year old father about his bakkie payments. He is not even far behind on his payments and has asked to make arrangements to catch up but she insists that Nedbank are sick and tired of my folks and that they are coming to re possess their car. The car is their only source of income as my dad does odd jobs and maintenance to survive. He bought the car through that \buy a car for R499"skeem that was later found to be fraud. How can I get this lady off my fathers back...its not good for his health.
In my opinion the banks that financed this scam should take some responsibility for selling

Surely we as consumers have the right to be treated better"
I bought my house in Raslouw through Standard Bank home loans and was told that I have to take out house insurance with them in order to get the loan. That was 7 years ago and I haven't missed even 1 payment. For 6 years I had NO claims what so ever. On 22 December 2014 we had a massive storm and a piece of my slab filled with water and the water ran over between the slab and the roof tiles. The slab has a drain but the water was just to much for it....the drain was sufficient for 6 years before but just could not cope with the storm. Water ran in every where damaging carpets and paint inside the house. Standard Bank just refused to pay. They sent an assessor from LP Projects there who decided even before he came that they were not to pay. Even worse he saw the water marks on my ceiling and while I was standing there he took my broom and said that he needs to check the ceiling and hit a great big hole in my ceiling......Slandered Bank refused to repair even the damage that their assessor did. They refuse to give me anything in writing but just says that they wont pay. They are the worse bank in the world and I would never use them again. I am actually moving my 2,7mil house loan.
