Avoid, Avoid, Avoid VIP Movers !!!
We had such a bad experience with VIP Movers that I couldn’t even bring myself to write this review. But that was in November last year 2022, and I did try hard to just move on. Unfortunately, we keep finding items either missing completely or else damaged as we keep unpacking. Michal subcontracts the actual movers and the communication is really difficult. Ours was a complex move with shuttles needed on both sides as well as storage prior to occupation, well they are just not capable of dealing with all those complexities and the line of communication is long and often broken. Every time we report an issue, Michal is shocked and can’t believe it. I have a long list of detailed damages same missing items that just scares me. In the end the emotional and financial costs were just exhausting. I wouldn’t want anyone to have to experience the trauma we had pre and post the move. Strongly advise to avoid VIP Movers.

Really annoyed with service from Premier Homeware. Ordered an expensive pizza oven and asked for urgent delivery. Was informed that it comes from Cape Town - (I live in CT) No they have to send it to Johannesburg first then only can they forward to CT. Took them a week to get it to Jhb and only after much pestering from me, did it get collected in JHb - now will be too late for Christmas Day and maybe arrive next week. Probably 14 days all in. After I asked for a refund - they said “don’t worry, we’ll make a plan” Yeah RIGHT. Not to be trusted and no more business from me.

EVEN ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH (It's the lowest we can select) If anyone says DISCOVERY - RUN!!!! Just run away. It's taken me over a month to NOT close my account - what a joke. The Account Closure department DOES NOT TAKE CALLS!!! Imagine how busy they must be. Current rating 1.29

Poor service and hidden information
I am really disappointed with your service. All your rave reviews - where's that service? Poor communication. Hidden information. Pre-order notification only after ordering. Value of shipment below R2000 ONLY AFTER ORDERING Small print on Crash Insurance - only after payment!!! And the list goes on.

Gas Evolution provides amazing service - Well done Guys
Gas Evolution are a gas consumable and gas installation supplier. They delivered excellent service. I ordered two 48 kg cylinders yesterday and they delivered today as promised with constant follow ups. On top of all that, the installer pointed out that the gas bottles needed to be restrained. He offered to arrange that and, to my complete surprise, he installed the restraining device in 10 minutes and then refused payment. Absolutely amazing service in this day and age. Well Done, Gas Evolution
