Super romantic ambiance and exceptional food and views at Aurum Restaurants at the Leonardo. Pasta, salads, coffees, gelato and cheesecake was exceptions. One of my fave spots that I will definitely return to!

Upon my arrival I rang the bell at the gate numerous times before someone let me in and once I was in, I called numerous times and walked around before I could find someone to assist me and give me my room key. The pictures on booking.com are deceiving. I was given a tiny room with a view of the parking area. I complained about this and Martie the resort manager kindly offered me an alternate room. The TV was too close to the bed and gave a limited view. The courtyard outside my room was dirty. There was dust around the tub, lizard **** and webs on the walls which I cleaned to make my stay bearable. I opened a drawer to unpack some items and it was broken and fell on my foot. The kettle element had such a short connection that as I picked up the kettle, the element fell to the ground. The mugs in my room were chipped and unmatching. There was an argument outside my room, with lots of cursing that kept me up and due to this I was then offered another upgrade, I was moved to room 1 and had to repack and unpack again late at night. At night I heared scratching sounds in the ceiling and cupoard which culd have been rats. The neighbours TV was also blarringly loud and despite the aircon on, I still heard the disturbance. There was a communal area which was filthy, the kitchen and fridge was in a terrible state, I have supporting pictures for all of this. When I arrived the toilet at the reception area was also untidy and messy. On day 2 possibly a monkey invaded my room while I was out by coming through a window that does not close and clawed and consumed my pizza and Woolies shortbread. I reported this to Martie and did not get a satifactory response, instead she said that this was a first time she heard of these things and all clients usually ask to return to room 1 as it is their best! The cleaner confirmed that the window does not close and that monkies sometimes invade the rooms. I will not return to Fairways and I expected a refund for my dismal and dissappointing experience. All these things are what you would least expect from a seaside vacation in the heart of Ballito - with beautiful deceiving pictures on Bookings.com - Really left me unsettled and disappointed.
I met with an accident in Jhb CBD on 11 June 2015. This was reported on the same morning at the Jhb Central Police Station, the claim was submitted on the same day 11 June 2015 and the car was taken for an assessment the following day (12 June 2015) to Eurocar Autobody in Crown Mines. I have made every effort to ensure that I did what was needed as soon as possible, yet more than 2 months have lapsed and the car is still not repaired nor is it ready for the repair work to commence. The service I have received from King Price to date is unacceptable. It has been a huge inconvenience driving around in a damaged vehicle that is not roadworthy and puts the safety of me and my family at risk. As it stands today, I have had to wait in excess of 2 months for the car to be repaired. I have now been informed that I have to take the car for an additional assessment in Pretoria, yet I reside in Buccleuch. The service and communication received from King Price to date regarding my claim has been hugely disappointing and to wait in excess of 2 months for the repair work to commence is an unacceptable inconvenience.
