Good Day The service was splendid, the food was delicious , compliments to the staff especially Sphamandla who was our host,We were really in good hands. I'm really excited with the Aurum restaurant experience, I loved it ! ❤️

We're currently booked at Leonardo for the weekend, we bought a champagne Friday night, then Saturday we wanted to ask if we can take it down and enjoy it at the restaurant. When we asked for a manager, apparently Richard told our waiter that he's busy and can't attend to us. What king of a manager that is busy for clients ?

Waiter by the name of Sipho gave me the worst service ever ' he is letting the restaurant down ,he didn't even provide to Bill to us we were told to pay a certain amount 😔 that's totally disgusting action has to be taken against such behavior

Worst service experience at all, room service was terrible. The manager Prudence is arrogant and not considerate of customers. No menu was provided for us and we’re expected to pay a ridiculous amount for a rib eye that we’re not happy about . Reception never provided a menu and we’re not happy. Prudence called security on us because we’re not happy?? Chile

Sorry folks, but this review is mainly about their customer service. Hadn’t had a chance to try their food and don’t think I’ll be interested. I wanted to host an event at Aurum, so I’ve contacted them through WhatsApp and email. They’ve never rep**** so I had to be physically there and ask for a manager (was there twice!). The manager was never onsite or available. So the receptionist always pushed us to reach out to the manager via email. So the manager managed to get back to me from my first email, and then I rep**** back with a follow up email with some questions. The manager decide to leave me on read again. I’ve resent the email a few times in case they didn’t received it the first time but still with no response. I then make a phone call to follow up with the manager, and by surprised, they answered. The manager rep**** with no interest of helping and admitted that they saw my email got sent to them a few times but decided to ignore it??? By the way, this back and forth communications took 3 weeks. I could’ve just searched for another place. Aurum, this is what has written on your website “We believe relationships should be treasured, and at AURUM there is always somebody on the other end of the line.”. I’m sorry to say, you didn’t live up to your expectations and standards. Rate: Poor communication: 1 star Poor customer service: 1 star

I went to celebrate my birthday at Aurum on Saturday the 26th of August. The entire experience was a disappointment, my appointment was for 2:45 when i called to confirm my booking I was not told that this would be a limited time booking, nor does it disclose this when making a booking online. 2 and a half hours to sit down eat and pay seems highly unrealistic. After we arrived our waitress was not attentive throughout our entire visit, to which we had to call on different waiters to get any service or simply place our order and when the waitress did attend she was simply rude. At 5:25 we were asked to move to the octo bar we could not understand as we were very formally dressed and when i confirmed my booking i told them we would be leaving at around 6:30 which the restaurant happily agreed. When i asked for the bill i was told to go to the octo bar and the bill will be brought to me as the next booking was already waiting. The waitress took 45min to bring the bill and walked away for another 10min where as i just wanted to pay and leave. When leaving the restaurant at 6:30 to my surprise the entire restaurant was still empty and had no bookings had arrived. Needless to say i had expressed on the online booking and at the restaurant that it is my birthday. I came to Aurum as i was recommended by two of the guests that were joining me that they got treated so well for their birthday as the restaurant offers a complimentary desert that says 'happy birthday' including a photograph that is taken. When waiters and management was asked no one could understand where that came from as that is not offered yet when shown videos from the other two guests we were told the chef has left and will only return after 6. This was a highly unprofessional experience, and unfortunately the beautiful interior cannot make up for this terrible service and unprofessionalism. @The Leonado hotel, all the parking machine kept swollowing guests tickets as well as their credit cards. When trying to call for help it says line is busy, it continued to spit out my card and any cash i put inside. After finding a reception to ask what the issue was and get the ticket paid, they did not have change ... For a 4 star hotel and restaurant i couldn't be more dissatisfied.

I booked a table at Aurum for my birthday. Phoned them personally to avoid any confusion and they sent me a sms for confirmation. Upon reaching there I find out the entire venue was booked off for corporate function. Not only they spoiled my birthday evening but also didn’t do anything to make up for their human error. Super romantic ambiance and exceptional food and views at Aurum Restaurants at the Leonardo. Pasta, salads, coffees, gelato and cheesecake was exceptions. One of my fave spots that I will definitely return to!
