I had such great service for the duration of my contract with Discovery Insure, until I had decided to move elsewhere due to a more competitive offering. I advised them a month in advance that I wished to cancel my policy and received a notification that I would be contacted by their client retention department. Nobody ever contacted. I simply received notification that my query had been resolved. However, they still collected the full debit order at the end of the month. I called on the 28th of April and was assured that the funds would be back in my bank account within 5 working days. Nothing.... I called again on the 7th of May, I was promised a call back before 1 pm same day. Nothing... And I still don't have my money back. I have 3 other products with Discovery, including banking, but if this is how you treat your clients, then I'll rather take my business elsewhere. I'm truly disappointed.
I was very excited to find a specific item online at Leroy Merlin. I paid for it in full (R11k), but was contacted a few days thereafter only to be informed that they did not have the item in stock. I was first informed that they would do an EFT back to my bank account and that it would take between 7 and 10 business days to be finalized. Considering this was their error. I requested that the funds be returned to me immediately. I sent my bank details through on Saturday (04/02), as requested, and was informed that I would receive the refund in 2 to 3 business days. It has been 4 business days, and nothing! My emails are not even being responded to. The Leroy Merlin website appears to be a scam!!!!
I would like to thank Discovery Insure, particularly Emelio Mokgethi, for the excellent service received today. I got stuck at a shopping mall with a dead car battery. Emelio was extremely helpful. He answered my call within seconds, arranged for a jump start and within minutes I was sorted. He even followed up to ensure I got back home safely. I was hesitant to call Discovery Insure, expecting to deal with an electronic voice recording and a long waiting time. I was truly pleasantly surprised☺
Dear Discovery Insure I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received after I had logged my claim online. I had to prompt a response and I had to continuously follow up for requirements. All my emails were ignored. A day after I had sent through all requirements, I was informed that my claim had been placed on hold due to outstanding requirements? Again I phoned, only to realise that my email hadn't even been looked at, at all, yet my claim was put on hold? I was then promised a call back the following day. Another two days passed, and again I called the call centre, only to be informed that my claims consultant is on leave and his stand-in is off ill. Fortunately, Bianca Petersen assisted me there and then. My claim was finalised immediately and very efficiently, and I received the money in my bank account a few days thereafter. Thanks again Bianca. If it hadn't been for the atrocious service I received from your colleagues for the first 2 and a half weeks, I would have given you 5 stars.
I ordered an item via Healthcart, the money was taken from my bank account over a week ago, but I still have not received the delivery. When viewing the order it just reads 'Preparing Order'. I have been trying to contact them telephonically to find out why it is taking so long to process my order.

I called last week Friday, only to be informed that the individual responsible for orders is not in at the moment and nobody knows when he'll be back. When I called again this morning, a lady answered, took my order number and then put me on hold. A minute later I was cut off. I tried calling back, but every time I get through they cut me off. This has now happened 3 times in a row!

What kind of a Mickey Mouse organisation is this? I would like to warn all people wanting to purchase health care items via Healthcart. They take your money, but provide nothing in return. Looks like a scam! Even offer you R50 discount on your first order..... Don't be fooled by this!
I recently bought a Groupon Voucher for Heavens Spa (VIP treatment). The treatments altogether would have 2 hours 25 minutes, made up of: 1 hour full body massage, 20 minute head massage, 30 minute facial, 15 minute foot scrub and then a 20 minute mani or pedi. Actual times were 45 minute full body massage, 7 minute head massage, 15 minute facial and then 20 minute combined foot scrub and mani/pedi. Altogether 1 hour 37 minutes, almost 45 minutes less than what was promised. We spent less than 2 hours at the salon and we felt like they wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. I thought I was treating my mom to a morning out to relax at a spa as a birthday present, but feel cheated and lied to and embarrassed that I took my mom there. Never even got the glass of wine they promised, not even a glass of water for that matter. I feel obligated to warn other people.
