We bought a pre-loved vehicle from Car Connexion in East London in February this year. I've had three little maintenance issues, and had absolutely amazing aftersales service from them. From having bearings replaced under the extended warrantee purchased through them to fitting a lever for the bonnet that I purchased myself, never once have they complained.
It seems that all the people in our area with a similar surname than mine, is supposedly using my cellphone number. I get countless reminders to refill chronic/repeat scripts as well as sms reminders that a driver is on it's way to me to deliver my script. On top of that, I even get the passwords to accept these orders. I don't have any chronic meds or scripts at all with any pharmacy. I called the Head Office, logged a complaint online, send the proof through and then got a call to say it is an error in their system and that they've corrected it. In September, it started again. This time somebody actually called to speak to a Mr Mans to discuss a repeat script. When I told them they have the wrong number, they politely apologised, ended the call...and then send a sms TO THE SAME NUMBER to ask the person they are looking for to call them. I called the number on the sms, gave them the reference number on the sms and explained the position. When the person on the other end told me they cannot determine who called me, I lost my temper and told them to get it sorted out as I am going to report Dischem to the relevant authorities for being in breach of the Popi act. Nothing happened. I don't know what more to do.
